Join us in redefining the boundaries of what’s possible!\nYour role\nWithin Group Equipment Automation & Robotics, the mission of Center of Excellence Laser & Marking team is to industrialize new processes, technologies and products to deliver to internal and external customers solution to support lens and frame manufacturing.\nAs an engineer you will lead studies & projects in the field of laser & marking to deliver solutions to our customers. You will lead upstream studies up to demonstrate feasibility stage by a prototype equipment.\nMain responsibilities:\nLead internal/external collaborations for laser process development in collaboration with upstream R&D studies (myopia control, tinting,…).\nEnsure a techno watch of patent in partnership with IP department, within the field of ophthalmic application.\nShare laser expertise used in manufacturing equipment within the group.\nWork in partnership with techno plan to build business case & economics.\nParticipate and convey a vision to steer expertise, execute corresponding roadmaps.\nLaser process integration in industrial manufacturing equipment.\nMain requirements:\nFor this position, we look for an engineer (or PhD), in physics or materials physics, with at least 5 years of experience in laser applications and ideally laser surface texturing.\nThe following skills will be valued and appreciated for this position: Generic Physics skills, laser / material interaction ideally enriched with system engineering knowledge to lead equipment development in partnership with suppliers.
