Join us in redefining the boundaries of what’s possible.\nYour role\nWe are seeking a motivated and skilled R&D Mechanical Engineer to contribute to the developement of innovative solutions within our R&D department.\nThe ideal candidate has strong technical foundations and market aptitude for problem solving with experience in mechanical design and prototype development.\nMain responsibilities:\nDevelopment of technical drawing packages for assemblies, in compliance withmanufacturing flows and production specifications.\n\nCollaboration with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical engineers, industrial designers, andother stakeholders) for product design, prototyping, and testing.\n\nAnalysis and identification of underlying principles to optimize design processes and reducedevelopment time.\n\nAssessment of client needs through active listening and critical thinking, translating theminto concrete technical solutions.\n\nMain requirements:\nDegree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.\nProven experience in developing drawing packages for assemblies in line withmanufacturing processes.\n\nProficiency in CAD systems, with priority given to Autodesk Inventor.\nCompetence in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools.\nGood knowledge of English, both writen and spoken.\nExcellent active listening, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.\nSpecific knowledge of vacuum equipment and PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) processes,including related standards and regulations.\n\nExperience in automation and robotics.\nFamiliarity with other CAD software such as Creo and SolidWorks.\nKnowledge of the SAP system and Windchill PLM.\nAdvanced proficiency in the Microsot Office Suite.\nWhat’s in it for you\nIn EssilorLuxottica, you are not defined just by your job title.
