systems for quality testing applications across eyewear, packaging, and wearable devices.\nWorking closely with the Quality Performance Laboratory and Automation teams, the intern will gain hands-on experience in robotics programming, experimental testing, data analysis, and the development of innovative automated testing solutions.\nThis role offers a unique opportunity to work with advanced technologies, contributing to the optimization of testing processes and the development of accurate, reliable, and repeatable quality testing methodologies.\nThe position is designed for candidates automation.\nAREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND RELATED ACTIVITIES:\nRobotics Setup & Programming\nSupport the setup and configuration of robotic systems for quality testing applications on eyewear, packaging, and wearable devices.\n\nAssist in programming robotic systems using C and C++ to perform precise, reliable, and repeatable testing procedures.\n\nContribute to the development and optimization of robotic algorithms and automated testing sequences.\n\nSupport troubleshooting activities to ensure robotic systems operate efficiently and accurately.\n\nExperimental Design & Testing\nAssist in designing experiments to assess the quality, reliability, and performance of eyewear products, packaging, and wearable devices.\n\nSupport the execution of experimental tests using robotic systems, ensuring compliance with established testing protocols.\n\nCollect and organize experimental data to evaluate product performance.\n\nContribute to improving testing methodologies and experimental procedures.\n\nData Analysis & Reporting\nAnalyze and interpret data collected from robotic experiments to identify relevant findings and potential areas for improvement.\n\nSupport data processing and visualization activities using tools such as MATLAB, Python, or similar software.\n\nAssist in preparing technical reports summarizing experimental results and testing outcomes.\n\nCollaborate with the team to translate analytical findings into actionable improvements for testing processes.\n\nCross-Functional Collaboration & Innovation\nWork closely with researchers and engineers from the Quality Laboratory and Automation departments to understand testing requirements and objectives.\n\nSupport the integration of robotic solutions into existing laboratory testing processes.\n\nParticipate in discussions and initiatives aimed at developing innovative and efficient testing methodologies.\n\nContribute ideas for process optimization and explore emerging technologies in robotics and automation.\n\nTechnical Documentation & Standardization\nSupport the documentation of robotic system configurations, programming code, and experimental procedures.\n\nAssist in developing and updating standardized testing protocols and technical documentation.\n\nEnsure accurate recording and traceability of testing activities and experimental results.\n\nContribute to knowledge-sharing activities and the adoption of best practices within the research team.\n\nMAIN REQUIREMENTS:\nCurrently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related technical fields.\n\nGood knowledge of C and C++ programming languages, with an interest in robotic systems and automation applications.\n\nBasic understanding of robotic programming, algorithms, and control systems.\n\nFamiliarity with experimental design principles and systematic testing procedures.\n\nUnderstanding of robotic hardware components and their integration with software systems.\n\nGood analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret technical data and troubleshoot issues.\n\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy in programming, testing, and technical documentation.\n\nGood communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment.\n\nCuriosity, creativity, and a proactive approach to learning new technologies and developing innovative solutions.\n\nPLUS:\nPrevious academic projects, laboratory experience, or internships related to robotics, automation, or quality testing.\n\nExperience in programming robotic systems or developing algorithms for robotic applications.\n\nKnowledge of MATLAB, Python, or other tools for data analysis and visualization.\n\nFamiliarity with robotic hardware setup, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.\n\nUnderstanding of automated testing methodologies and industrial quality control processes.\n\nInterest in emerging robotics technologies, experimental research, and continuous improvement initiatives.\n\nLANGUAGES:\nGood knowledge of Italian (both written and spoken);\n\nGood knowledge of English (both written and spoken);\n\nKnowledge of additional languages is considered
