Discover more by following us on LinkedIn!\nJOB DESCRIPTION\nGENERAL FUNCTION\nThe Sr. Manager Process Engineering is responsible for leading a hands-on manufacturing engineering organization supporting high-mix, high-volume production operations, with primary responsibility for injection molding, paint, and assembly processes.\nThe successful candidate will work side by side with production, maintenance, quality, tooling, automation, and NPI teams to improve manufacturing performance and process robustness.\nThe position combines technical leadership with people management and is accountable for delivering measurable improvements in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Yield, Efficiency, and manufacturing capacity.\nMAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nLead a manufacturing engineering team responsible for process and equipment design, operational excellence, continuous improvement, and KPI performance across safety, volume, efficiency, cost, yield, and service.\nProvide technical and strategic leadership, including budget input and execution of Lean initiatives using Process Management, Visual Management, Standard Work, Six Sigma, Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, and root-cause problem solving.\nMaintain a strong shop-floor presence, providing hands-on leadership for production, process, tooling, equipment, quality, and yield issues while driving sustainable corrective actions.\nDevelop engineers through coaching, structured problem solving, and manufacturing fundamentals; establish and maintain Process Capability metrics, SPC Control Plans, and PFMEAs.\nLead manufacturing validation for new product releases and partner with Tooling and Maintenance to improve mold/tooling performance, equipment reliability, preventive maintenance, and manufacturing capability.\nManage the Tooling Management Program and multiple concurrent engineering projects, ensuring schedule, technical performance, cost, and business results.\nCollaborate cross-functionally with R&D, NPI, Finance, Production, Maintenance, Assembly, Quality, and Customer teams to resolve complex issues and implement improvements.\nCoordinate with internal engineering disciplines to ensure integrated designs and complete engineering deliverables.\nBASIC QUALIFICATIONS\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field\n8+ years of relevant experience, including 5+ years in management\nStrong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills\nKnowledge of LEAN Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement\nExperience with SPC, Process Capability, DOE, PFMEA, Control Plans, and data-driven problem solving\nProven ability to troubleshoot complex manufacturing issues, perform root-cause analysis, and lead cross-functional corrective actions\nAbility to coach teams and manage multiple complex projects independently\nAdvanced MS Office skills\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\nMaster’s Degree preferred\nBilingual - English / Spanish\nProject Management/LEAN Manufacturing certification\nMinitab Software to perform/analyze Design of Experiments\nExperience with automation, robotics, vision systems, material handling, or manufacturing equipment integration.\nExperience with scientific molding methodologies and advanced injection molding process development.\nPay Range: $137,019.63 - $200,279.40\nThis posting is for an existing vacancy within our business. Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
