Responsibilities include managing the development and implementation of RXO projects and acts as a liaison between Engineering, operations, as well as contractors and vendors from project conception to completion. Also ensure the development, organization and control of project schedules forecasting, drive implementation and tracking cost and results.\nMAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nProvides leadership and support in development, assessment, and execution of projects.\nBuilds and fosters collaborative relationships with all team members.\nPartners with management to develop capital investment strategy, determine project and initiative priorities.\nApplies knowledge and experience to identify risks, develop and evaluate alternative solutions to drive project success.\nDevelop, create specifications, obtain quotes, and execute infrastructure projects.\nInteract with contractors and vendors to provide guidance, and monitor progress to ensure timely and safe completion of projects\nEstablish project schedules and Gantt charts to help monitor project progress.\nAct as a liaison between Site Operations and Capital Project Management Teams to schedule installations, equipment movements, and contractor work.\nSubmit purchase order requests for materials and labor.\nReview vendor invoices for approval.\nUtilize AutoCad layout plans for equipment and utility information.\nEnsure project success by providing project milestones, budgets, reports, and other means of communication to the organization.\nForecast materials, labor needs, and schedule multi-discipline team for industrial projects group.\nAssess team member skils and perform development plan and reviews.\nProvide support and leadership in Environmental, Health and Safety.\nAssume additional responsibilities and perform special projects as needed or directed\nBASIC QUALIFICATIONS\nBS in Engineering or equivalent experience\n7+ years project management experience\nExperience with AutoCad, Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint and Project software.\nAbility to balance multiple projects simultaneously.\nSelf-starter comfortable in an ambiguous, project-oriented environment\nStrong knowledge-base and experience on plant infrastructures, design and equipment installation\nWorking knowledge of environmental, safety and health requirements\nAbility to meet travel schedule as required, up to 30%.\nCurrent passport and ability to travel throughout North America\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\nProject Management Software programs experience\nProven track record of delivering projects on time and on budget\nExperience supervising personnel and leading a team\nProject background with contractors and vendors\nThis posting is for an existing vacancy within our business.
