Discover more by following us on LinkedIn!\nJOB DESCRIPTION\nGENERAL FUNCTION\nThe EHS Supervisor implements & improves envrionmental compliance programs. Leads site management in storage, handling & disposal of chemicals & solid waste. Ensures proper disposal of wastewater to ensure operations are in compliance with state & federal safety regulations.\nMAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES\nCoordinate environmental compliance programs to ensure adherence with applicable federal, state, and local regulations.\nAssist with the interpretation and implementation of environmental regulatory requirements and company standards.\nSupport environmental permitting, reporting, inspections, audits & recordkeeping activities.\nCoordinate waste management programs, including hazardous and non-hazardous waste handling, storage, and disposal activities.\nSupport waste minimization, recycling, and sustainability initiatives.\nAssist with stormwater, wastewater, and air compliance programs.\nTrack environmental inspections, audit findings, corrective actions, and regulatory commitments through completion.\nParticipate in environmental incident investigations and support root cause analysis efforts.\nMaintain environmental records and ensure required documentation is current and readily available.\nAssist in preparing regulatory reports, including but not limited to TRI/Form R reporting and waste reporting requirements.\nCoordinate sampling, monitoring, and environmental assessments as needed.\nCoordinate site safety programs and initiatives to promote a safe work environment.\nConduct routine workplace inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance with company safety requirements.\nAssist in incident investigations, near-miss reporting, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.\nCoordinate employee safety training programs, orientation programs, and contractor safety requirements.\nAssist with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) assessments, training, and compliance monitoring.\nSupport emergency response planning, drills, and preparedness activities.\nTrack safety metrics, inspections, incidents, corrective actions, and compliance activities.\nPromote employee awareness of environmental, health, and safety policies, procedures, and best practices.\nBASIC QUALIFICATIONS\nBachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, Chemical Engineering, or related field preferred.\nMinimum of 3-5 years of experience in Environmental, Health & Safety, manufacturing, industrial operations, or a related field.\nWorking knowledge of environmental/safety regulations, including:\nRCRA\nHazardous Waste Management\nStormwater and Wastewater Programs\nSPCC Programs\nOSHA Regulations\nHazard Communication\nEmergency Response Programs\nProficient with Microsoft Office applications and EHS management systems.\nExcellent organizational, communication & interpersonal skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nPreferred Qualifications\nAssociate Safety Professional (ASP) or Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification.\nCertified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM).\nCertified Industrial Hygienist (CIH).\nCertified Wastewater Pretreatment Operator.\nExperience in manufacturing, logistics, distribution\nThis posting is for an existing vacancy within our business.
