Ready to turn deep SAP MDG expertise into scalable solutions and share your knowledge with others? Want to influence data quality and transformation across Essity? Join us and make your expertise count.\nAbout the Role\nAs an Enterprise Data Architect within Data Management Solutions, you will help shape and continuously improve Essity’s approach to Master Data Governance (MDG), supporting master data domains across our global sites.\nThis is an architecture-focused role where your SAP MDG expertise will make an impact beyond hands-on development. You will translate business needs into scalable solutions, create functional specifications, guide implementation, and act as a trusted expert for colleagues and stakeholders. You will also contribute to data migration, data quality and the MDG roadmap while helping less-experienced colleagues grow through coaching and knowledge sharing.\nWhat You Will Do\nSAP MDG Architecture: Design and continuously improve SAP Master Data Governance solutions across domains including Business Partner, Customer, Vendor, Material and Finance data.\nData Replication: Design replication workflows and integrations to receiving systems and their monitoring.\nSolution Design: Translate business requirements into functional specifications, scalable master data models, governance processes, workflows, and validation rules.\nProject Partnership: Participate in project discussions to determine MDG requirements and provide expert guidance to project teams and business stakeholders.\nData Migration: Support master data migration activities for SAP S/4HANA deployments and business transformation programs, including mapping, validation, and cutover readiness.\nData Quality: Contribute to data profiling, cleansing, deduplication, monitoring, and root-cause analysis to improve master data quality.\nKnowledge Sharing: Coach and mentor colleagues, sharing your SAP MDG expertise and guiding others in the delivery of solutions.\nMDG Roadmap: Help shape the SAP MDG roadmap and collaborate with business data teams on emerging requirements and issues.\nWho You Are\nYou hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Management, or a related field; relevant SAP MDG, SAP S/4HANA or Data Governance certifications are an advantage.\nYou bring substantial experience in SAP Master Data Management, SAP MDG, Data Governance, Information Management or SAP Enterprise Architecture, with proven exposure to MDG implementations, rollouts, or support. We particularly value the depth and complexity of your experience rather than years alone.\nYou have strong SAP MDG expertise and understand its data models. Experience with complex master data domains such as Business Partner or Material, data replication, migration, cleansing, and deduplication is particularly relevant.\nYou communicate effectively with different stakeholders, can turn technical complexity into clear guidance, and enjoy sharing expertise through coaching and mentoring in an international environment.\nYou have good English communication skills, enabling you to collaborate effectively across Essity’s global organization. All Applicants are requested to deliver their CV in English language.\nWhat We Can Offer You\nOur purpose, Breaking Barriers to Well-being, provides meaning to everything we do. Join us to improve well-being for people and drive positive change for society and the environment. At Essity, you'll feel valued, empowered to grow, and challenged to achieve business results in a collaborative and open atmosphere.\nInnovate for Good | Excel Together | Be You with Us\nMore About the Location\nThis is a multi-location role with flexibility to be based in Lisbon (primary location), Gothenburg, Hamburg, Munich, collaborating with international teams across all regions.\nApplication End Date:\n02 nov. 2026Job Requisition ID:\nEssity262651","description_format":"text","description_chars":3981,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":null,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":{"level":"bachelor","optional":false},"security_clearance":false,"languages":[{"language":"English","level":"Upper-Intermediate (B2)","optional":false}]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[{"name":"Portugal","iso":"PT","kind":"country"}],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Baby Products","Personal Hygiene & Toiletries","Medical Supplies & Consumables","Wound Care"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-10-21T08:28:05Z"}],"visa":[],"liveness":{"score":56,"band":"ok","label":"Likely open","p_open":1,"p_active":0.627,"p_room":0.9,"age_days":8,"expected_fill_days":20,"reasons":["conf:1","stale_co","velocity","win:mid","comp:brand"],"computed_at":"2026-10-28T05:59:10Z"},"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/essity-enterprise-information-architect-fmd","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/essity-enterprise-information-architect-fmd.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-10-28T10:04:51Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","about":"Alion is a live layer of people, companies and AI agents: who they are, whether they are real and active right now, what they do and how to work with them, readable by people and by agents and paid per call.","catalog":"https://alion.io/catalog.json","usage":{"tier":"search","counted_by":"address","units_charged":0,"used_today":0,"day_limit":null,"remaining_today":null,"minute_limit":null,"resets_at":"2026-10-29T00:00:00Z"}},"offers":[{"id":"company.slices","title":"One company in depth, by slice","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002,"plus_per_slice":{"credits":0.05,"usd":0.005}},"unit":"per company, plus each slice with data","note":"the employer in depth","call":{"mcp_tool":"get_company","arguments":{"id":12183},"rest":"https://alion.io/mcp/rest/get_company?id=12183"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.slices&for=job%2Fessity-enterprise-information-architect-fmd"},{"id":"market.stats","title":"A market slice: pay, demand and time to fill","status":"live","price":{"credits":1,"usd":0.1},"unit":"per slice","note":"pay, demand and time to fill for this role and place","call":{"mcp_tool":"market_stats"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=market.stats&for=job%2Fessity-enterprise-information-architect-fmd"},{"id":"job.search","title":"Open jobs by role, technology, place, pay and visa","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002},"unit":"per posting in a list","note":"similar open postings","call":{"mcp_tool":"search_jobs"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=job.search&for=job%2Fessity-enterprise-information-architect-fmd"},{"id":"company.verify","title":"Is this company real and active right now","status":"pilot","price":null,"unit":"per company","request":{"url":"https://alion.io/catalog/request","method":"POST","body":"{\"offer\": \"company.verify\", \"for\": \"job/essity-enterprise-information-architect-fmd\", \"note\": \"what you need it for\"}"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.verify&for=job%2Fessity-enterprise-information-architect-fmd"}],"agent":{"mcp":"https://alion.io/mcp/jobs","mcp_open":"https://alion.io/mcp/open","next":[{"tool":"get_job","arguments":{"id":2986114}},{"tool":"search_jobs","arguments":{"company":"essity.com","detail":"compact"}},{"tool":"match_people","arguments":{"job_id":2986114},"note":"people open to offers who fit this vacancy"}],"note":"The same data through MCP tools: https://alion.io/mcp/open needs no sign-in (compact searches, postings, people); https://alion.io/mcp with an Alion account has everything.
