If you want to learn and grow in a collaborative environment where your skills are challenged, but you’re always supported, we would love to connect.\nWhat You Will Do\nWork within Essity safety standards with an emphasis on keeping coworkers and yourself safe in everything you do by following all safety rules and guidelines as established by company policy and various safety training programs. Understand and communicate all hazards and safety issues to appropriate personnel. Must properly use all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).\n\nEnsure that assigned machine is kept running and is producing quality products.\n\nRecognize defect and quality issues and secure the required quality level of the final products by regularly checking the product produced and making necessary adjustments to correct problems.\n\nLead changeovers and other technical activities as needed.\n\nOrder, prepare and install raw materials on the machine according to Standard Operating Procedures.\n\nMaintain an adequate communication flow with previous shift and post shift workers regarding performance of machine.\n\nMaintain optimal housekeeping in the assigned work area during shift and shift transitions by using the appropriate equipment to clean off machine and dispose of debris in hoppers.\n\nComplete all required documentation and data files needed for tracking purposes.\n\nUtilize Levels Program to increase technical skills and knowledge as part of the normal job progression\n\nWho You Are\nMust have HS Diploma or GED\n\nMust be 18 years old or older.\n\nMust be able to pass a background check and drug test\n\nPrevious manufacturing experience - preferred\n\n12 hour rotating shift schedule, alternating between day shift and night shift at 2-week intervals. Ability to work a rotating or \"swing shift\" schedule is mandatory.\n\nOperators are responsible for continuously monitoring and maintaining quality based on established standards by visual and mechanical inspection of product, as well as working in a safe manner at all times.\n\nThis role requires frequent walking or standing, the ability to occasional bending or kneeling, lifting up to 50 lbs., and pushing/pulling.\n\nMust be able to safely move materials utilizing proper equipment which may include a forklift, crane, or hoist.\n\nMust be familiar with various hand tools and be able to read a tape measure down to the sixteenth of an inch.\n\nMust have basic computer skills\n\nMust possess a high degree of attention to detail and be able to work in a fast paced, high-quality manufacturing environment.
