Our culture grows with you.\nAbout the Role\nThe Essity Manufacturing Professional Hygiene North America Converting Team is currently searching for Maintenance Technician - Manufacturing. This position will be based at our facility in Bordentown, New Jersey.\nTheMaintenance Technician - Manufacturing is responsible for performing preventive and predictive maintenance on production and paper-converting equipment, troubleshooting technical issues using root cause analysis, and supporting operators with technical guidance. The role requires expertise in mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems, as well as industrial maintenance skills.\nThe position hands-on training on the first shift Monday to Friday from 7:00AM to 3:30PM, before moving into a Weekend shift Friday to Sunday 5:00AM to 5:00PM.\nWhat You Will Do\nConsistently demonstrate safe work practices and promote a culture of safety among team members.\n\nPerform preventative maintenance and predictive maintenance on process equipment to improve reliability.\n\nTroubleshooting equipment and processes.\n\nKnowledge of maintenance planning process and manufacturing work systems.\n\nMaintain necessary documentation (drawings, diagrams, bill of materials, etc.) and communicate repairs to others.\n\nParticipates in improvement projects to reduce maintenance costs and reduce process equipment failures.\n\nWorks collaboratively with Maintenance and Operations Leadership, Subject Matter Experts, Vendors, Technical representatives and Contractors on a project and ongoing basis as needed.\n\nElectrical work scope includes knowledge in motor control circuits, AC & DC drives, electrical power distribution, Allen Bradley PLC software, I/O devices, and other industrial electrical systems\n\nWorking with mechanical and electrical blueprints or drawings is a big plus.\n\nMeeting Essity Safety and Quality standards when performing tasks, such as but not limited to Lock Out/Tag Out or Confined Space.\n\nFollowing a strict Preventive Maintenance Schedule.\n\nReport any machine defects identified during PM that cannot be corrected to supervisor.\n\nResponding to calls from the production team to restore and/or adjust machines to keep product running at expected rates.\n\nWho You Are\nHigh School graduate or GED required, Technical or College degree preferred.\n\n3+ years of Industrial Maintenance experience\n\nExperience working with a preventive maintenance schedule\n\nMinimum 3 years working with the following tools and machinery:\n\n- Pipefitting\n- Welding, brazing, burring\n- Air compressors/HVAC systems\n- Lathe\n- Drill presses\n- Band saws\n- Hand tools\nWorking with mechanical and electrical blueprints or drawings is a big plus\n\nWhat We Can Offer You\nOur purpose, Breaking Barriers to Well-Being, provides meaning to everything we do.
