This position will be based at our facility in Bordentown, New Jersey.\nThe Manufacturing Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective production operations. As a frontline leader and safety role model, this position is responsible for achieving production targets on time, within quality specifications, and according to operational standards. The role serves as the first point of contact for safety, quality, environmental, and employee-related issues, while driving continuous improvement and loss elimination initiatives. By optimizing labor, materials, and equipment resources, monitoring key performance indicators, and coaching and developing team members, the Team Leader ensures operational excellence, employee engagement, and the successful execution of business objectives.\nThe position hands-on training on the first shift Monday to Friday from 7:00AM to 3:30PM, before moving into a Weekend shift Friday to Sunday 5:00AM to 5:00PM.\nWe’re looking for people who embody our Beliefs & Behaviors and bring curiosity, innovation, and a willingness to challenge the status quo. If you want to learn and grow in a collaborative environment where your skills are challenged, but you’re always supported, we would love to connect.\nWhat You Will Do\nConsistently demonstrate safe work practices and promote a culture of safety among team members.\nAdhere strictly to all company safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.\nAct as the first point of contact for managing incidents related to safety, quality, and environmental concerns, as well as handling disciplinary actions.\nIdentify and address safety hazards, investigate incidents and near misses, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.\nConduct regular safety discussions and coach employees on safe work practices and behaviors.\nEnsure adherence to essential operational standards and procedures within the team and on the production line.\nParticipates in the implementation of product initiatives and projects in the line.\nEnsure team’s compliance with operational standards (safety, quality, maintenance, center lining (CL), cleaning, inspection, lubrication (CIL), Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), etc.).\nExecute onboarding processes and facilitate continuous learning for the team.\nOptimize team resources during shifts to achieve the expected production results, ensuring efficient use of time, materials, and labor.\nOversee shift operations to ensure productivity, quality, efficiency, cost control, and customer requirements are achieved.\nMonitor production performance and key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring accurate reporting and timely resolution of operational issues.\nEnsure products are manufactured according to specifications, quality standards, and production schedules to meet delivery commitments.\nVerify materials, components, and work orders are accurate and available to support production requirements.\nLead problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, quality, and operational performance.\nWho You Are\nHigh School Diploma, Technical Degree or equivalent.\nFive years of manufacturing operational experience.\n1+ year of experience in supervisory or team leadership role, with proven success in leading and motivating teams.\nExperience in team management, including planning, task delegation, performance tracking, and providing feedback to team members.\nStrong coaching skills.\nAbility to identify problems and implement solutions, as well as handle conflict and confrontation.\nGood planning, organizing and prioritizing skills.\nMechanical trouble-shooting skills.\nKnowledge and experience using manufacturing best practices and applied improvement processes.\nSkilled in Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and Power Point.\nWhat We Can Offer You\nAt Essity, we believe every career is as unique as the individual and empower employees to reach their full potential in a winning culture motivated by a powerful purpose.\nCompensation and Benefits:\nExpected Compensation\nPay range: $62,000 to $88,000 + Annual Bonus + full benefits\nPay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors such as knowledge, skills, and experience.\nAlong with competitive pay you will be eligible for the following benefits:\nUnited Healthcare PPO / EyeMed Vision Insurance / Delta Dental Insurance on your first day of employment\nWellness program provided through Rally\nHealthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)\n401(k) with employer match and annual employer base contribution\nCompany paid Basic Life, AD&D, short-term and long-term disability insurance\nEmployee Assistance Program\nPTO offering with Paid Holidays\nVoluntary benefits to include: critical illness, hospital indemnity, and accident insurance\nEmployee discounts program\nScholarship program for children of Essity employees. \nAdditional Information\nThe Company is committed to equalemployment opportunity and providingreasonable accommodations to qualifiedcandidates and employees pursuant toapplicable law.
