As an employee at Essity, you will belong to a team where you feel valued, are safe, supported to grow and challenged to generate business results in a friendly and open atmosphere.\nAbout The Role:\nOperate a simple line/machine/palletizer or support operating a production line for hygiene products, manufacturing products according to fixed specifications and Standard Operating Procedures. As member of the shift team the Operator is responsible for the performance of the machine. Must be able to work 10-12 hour rotating shifts.\nEssential Functions:\nWork within Essity safety standards with a responsibility for others\nOperates process & equipment efficiently.\nIs accountable for the performance of his/her equipment.\nAble to consistently apply the necessary standards to keep the process under control.\nDevelops standards (CL, CIL, PM, OPL, WPS, etc.) through observation to gain deep understanding of the equipment.\nTroubleshoots stops in a structured way using the available tools: POS, BDE, etc.\nUnderstands the Operation and equipment, what it does/how it works & can carry out CIL (Clean, Inspect, Lubricate) tasks and perform simple maintenance tasks.\nLead changeovers\nOrder and prepare raw materials and install them on the machine according to Standard Operating Procedures.\nMaintain an adequate communication with previous and next shift as well with other persons involved in running the machine.\nMaintain optimal housekeeping. \nSecure the quality level of the products by regularly checking against the product specification, rejecting and blocking if necessary.\nComplete all required documentation and data files during production.\nMust be able to work 10-12 hour rotating shifts.\nOther duties as assigned.\nEducation:\nHigh School or GED required.\nMust have 1 year of related experience.\nSupports all safety enablers and initiatives in a positive manner.\nStrong communication skills, both written and verbal.\nAbility to effectively train others.\nDisplays effective conflict resolution skills.\nStrong machine and process knowledge.\nEffective facilitation skills.\nDisplays effective leadership style by leading by example.\nDisplays behaviors and attitudes consistent with ESSITY core values.\nWhat We Can Offer You\nAt Essity, we believe every career is as unique as the individual and empower employees to reach their full potential in a winning culture motivated by a powerful purpose.\nLocation: This will be an onsite position supporting our manufacturing site located in Bowling Green, KY.\nAdditional Information\nThe Company is committed to equalemployment opportunity and providingreasonable accommodations to qualifiedcandidates and employees pursuant toapplicable law.
