You will play a key role in ensuring every product leaving our facility reflects the quality ESS Metron is known for.\nLocation: 1505 W. 3rd Avenue, Denver, CO 80223 (We're located in the Baker neighborhood of Denver)\nWork Hours: [1st Shift - 5:00 AM to 1:45 PM] [2nd Shift - 3:45 PM to 12:30 AM]\nWhat you'll be doing\nChampion a \"Safety First\" culture by modeling safe practices and promoting safety awareness across the team.\nPerform wet painting and powder coating operations on sheet metal ranging from 16ga to 7ga.\nHang, wash/etch, and dry parts prior to coating and painting.\nApply surface finishes per blueprints, oral instructions, shop drawings, and applicable paint specifications.\nStage completed parts per zone and affix labels according to drawings.\nClean wet paint spray guns and powder coating machines regularly to maintain efficient and safe operation.\nPay close attention to detail to ensure high-quality coating on precision equipment components.\nMaintain a clean and organized work area, machines, tools, and equipment.\nWhat you'll have\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required.\nPrevious experience with powder coating preferred.\nStrong attention to detail and ability to follow precise finish specifications.\nAbility to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and paint specifications.\nAbility to work collaboratively and communicate effectively within a team environment.\nPhysical requirements and work environment\nAbility to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods in an active manufacturing facility.\nAbility to regularly lift and move equipment up to [X] lbs.\nAbility to work onsite in a manufacturing environment with moving mechanical parts and exposure to paint fumes and chemical agents.\nExposure to moderate-to-high noise levels and varying temperatures.\nSafety requirements\nPPE & Compliance: Strictly adhere to all site safety protocols and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times (e.g., safety glasses, hearing protection, steel-toed boots, respirator).\nHazard Awareness: Proactively identify, report, and mitigate potential workplace hazards or unsafe conditions.\nStandards: Maintain compliance with OSHA regulations and internal safety training.\nOrganization: Keep all work areas clean and free of obstructions to prevent workplace accidents\nCompensation and Benefits\nSalary commensurate with experience.\n401(k) retirement plan: Includes a generous company match.\nComprehensive health coverage: Multiple medical plan options, including HSA & FSA options.\nWork-life balance: Paid time off, 10 paid holidays, and paid parental leave.\nCompany-provided life & AD&D insurance, short- and long-term disability.\nDiscretionary annual bonus eligibility.\nWellness & lifestyle perks: WellHub (fitness & wellness), Cleo (family support), Bright Horizons (childcare & education), and My Benefits Work (discounts & services)\nESS Metron is an equal opportunity employer.
