Candidates selected during the proposal phase may be asked to provide an updated resume and other information required for proposal submission.\nAbout the Role\nEssnova Solutions is seeking an experienced Lead Test Engineer - Senior to support a large-scale federal technology and application modernization initiative supporting the U.S. Census Bureau.\nThis role will support the development and execution of automated testing strategies for complex enterprise applications and modernization efforts. We are seeking a senior testing professional with strong hands-on experience developing automated testing solutions and integrating testing into modern software delivery pipelines.\nWhat You’ll Do\nDevelop and execute automated testing strategies for enterprise applications.\nDesign, develop, and maintain automated test suites.\nPerform regression testing across application releases and modernization activities.\nIntegrate automated testing into CI/CD workflows.\nDevelop and manage synthetic test data.\nIdentify, document, and track defects and testing results.\nCollaborate with application developers, architects, engineers, and DevSecOps teams.\nSupport continuous improvement of testing frameworks, processes, and automation.\nDevelop testing documentation and technical reports.\nRequirements\n10-14 years of relevant testing/test engineering experience.\nDemonstrated automated testing experience - required.\nSenior-level experience developing and executing enterprise application testing strategies.\nExperience with technologies and practices including:\nKatalon\nSelenium\nGitLab CI test integration\nSynthetic test data generation\nAutomated regression test suites\nPreferred Qualifications\nISTQB certification\nCSTP certification\nWork Location\nThis position supports the U.S. Census Bureau Headquarters in Suitland, Maryland under a hybrid work model.
