The role collaborates with regional, global, and local stakeholders to execute procurement strategies and represents the indirect procurement function across Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Vietnam, supporting regional reporting and strategic initiatives.\nResponsibilities\nLead the local indirect procurement activity to manage an annual spends of indirect commodities and capital expenditures.\nLeverage the purchasing power by consolidating business volume of categories across Brands, Corporate Departments at country level.\nAttain year-on-year saving targets of different PMT initiatives, ensure local adherence to PMT saving methodology.\nTrack and validate the saving reported by local suppliers, seek approval from the internal stakeholders and report to Regional Indirect Procurement team.\nGovern the execution of Global Procurement Policy, ensure the Policy is best adapting to local requirements in terms of business, cultural, legal, regulatory and economical from time to time.\nCo-lead strategic sourcing process, (e.g. RFI/RFQ/RFP), bid evaluation, supplier selection by using the category management methods.\nWork with Regional Indirect Procurement to establish local cross-functional teams in country to deploy CMT strategies.\nIncrease spends visibility to engage procurement influence earlier in specification design and decision making stage. \nIntroduce robust metrics to optimize local sourcing practices, examine procurement function’s effectiveness in areas of risk management, supply chain security, sustainability and innovation.\nEnsure high quality of goods and services, reduced supply continuity and contractual risks in the supply of commodities.\nResponsible for briefing the stakeholders (internal customers) on deployment plans, activities, timelines, and their respective roles/responsibilities.\nMaintain contract repository of locally signed legal agreements.\nParticipate in resolutions of any issue or dispute, escalate issues early and appropriately.\nEvaluate supplier capabilities and establish sources for new technologies and markets as driven by business requirements.\nMeasure and manage the overall performance of suppliers implemented with KPIs.\nDrive supplier collaboration and innovation; maintain close relationship with key strategic suppliers.\nPro-actively provide market/ supplier intelligence to the Regional Indirect Procurement team (Hong Kong based) for PMT initiatives driven regionally or/and globally.\nCommunicate extensively the progress of projects, issues, and benefits of the initiatives with internal stakeholders and Regional Procurement team. \nLead, coach, develop, train and motivate the local buyer networks.\nRequirements\nBachelor's degree; tertiary or equivalent 5-7 years of work experience of relevant procurement experiences in multinational corporations, preferably in a managerial role.\nProfessional recognition in purchasing or procurement (e.g., ISM CPM) is desirable but not essential.\nProven fluency in written and spoken English.\nDemonstrated successful results in managing purchasing activities within a market for mixed categories.\nExcellent time management, project management and organizational skills. Develop and implement data collection systems, analytics and other capabilities to deliver insights from information, both efficiently and effectively Act as liaison between GSR Category/COE teams, Planning, and QA organization to drive the Operational Excellence pillar of the Procurement strategy Plan and coordinate with QA & GSR teams the execution, tracking, and maintenance of Packaging, Ingredients and TPM supplier audits and quality agreements Monitor and report on QA audits and Quality agreement completion Develop and review analytics so that reports can be shared at frequency to provide status, trends and recommendations for continuous improvementsLead quality transformation projects within GSRsuch as: Supplier Quality Performance 2.0 Provide visibility and management of risks and opportunities for all projects from a process, data, and resourcing perspective. Ensure resources are accountable and delivering against project commitments\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering or related field 5+ years' experience in project management and managerial positions, preferably in Supply Chain Planning, Quality, and Procurement, in global environment. Six Sigma Certification Previous experience running portfolios of diverse projects. High proficiency in MS Office including MS Project Must be detail\noriented, highly organized and process\noriented.
