Oversee transportation spend and shipments for both inbound and outbound transactions and collaborate with key stakeholders across Estes to resolve customer problems. The successful candidate will interact daily with the senior level logistics and transportation personnel to drive continuous improvement to supply chain practices, cost reductions and customer satisfaction.\nServe as advocate for customer and liaison between the Estes corporate office and the customer supply chain team to identify and resolve problems for specific customer. Research and develop ongoing solutions to prevent repeatable problems\nWork with Estes departments such as Pricing, Time Critical, Payment Services, Sales, Operations and others to ensure Estes’ revenue goals are achieved\nAssist with creation of technological improvements to allow clients to secure necessary information faster and with less cost\nCollaborate with customer corporate logistics and transportation teams to identify and communicate opportunities to enhance existing supply chain engagement with Estes\nMay focus on growing Estes Premium Services including Time Critical and Domestic Ocean markets.\nPartner with customers to conduct and lead quarterly business reviews, analyze goal results and develop plans for account growth and continuous improvements\nInteract with senior customer management at both the corporate and field Levels\nBuild sustainable relationships with internal and external customers\nProvide Supply Chain expertise to Customer Management Team\nMinimum 10% travel to develop and maintain business relationships with various customers on-site at their locations\nRegular attendance is required.\nThis is not an all-inclusive list of job requirements and/or duties and may not contain all mental and physical capabilities necessary to perform the job at all times due to circumstances.
