The Driver, Warehousing also handles unloading, sorting, handling, and loading freight efficiently in accordance with verbal and written instructions, as well as Federal, State, and customer regulations.\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must satisfactorily perform each essential duty. Reasonable accommodations will be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties. \nOperate 26ft box truck safely.\nSchedule and make all standing daily appointments.\nMake internal transfer loads locally as needed.\nMake alternate customer pickup and deliveries as needed.\nMove freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage or production areas, loading docks, or delivery vehicles or containers by hand or using forklifts, trucks, tractors, or other equipment. \nRead work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments or material or equipment needs.\nControl and maintain all records required for accurate, on-time completion of shipments.\nWork independently and in a team environment to accomplish work assignments.\nSupport and promote company core values.\nWill be required to operate all types of equipment to perform all safety functions, including, but not limited to, operating manual transmission, chaining tires, etc., and must be skilled and qualified to drive in all types of terrain, routes, and environmental conditions.\nComply with all requirements for safe and legal transportation of materials.\nMust adhere to all FMCSA requirements of those holding a Commercial Driver’s License.\nEnsure security of equipment and cargo.\nConduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure safe working conditions of the truck prior to each trip and at the end of each trip.\nCheck gauges and visual indicators for malfunctions, ensure seal or lock on trucks, and conducts inspection of vehicles before and during trips to determine problems that may be occurring.\nPromptly report all maintenance problems to management.\nVerify unit numbers versus paperwork given and report any discrepancies to your supervisor.\nMay be required to drive different schedules and work the dock based on business needs.\nProvide professional and courteous service to our customers and the general public.\nResponsible for safely operating a Non-CDL Box Truck in the transportation of freight in accordance with Company, Federal, State, and Local laws with regard to run times and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations.\nRegular attendance is required.\nWill assist where needed based on business requirements: Dock work to include loading/unloading freight and customer site loading/unloading freight.\nRegular attendance is required.\nComply with company C-TPAT and TSA security procedures.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nQualifications\nThe qualifications listed below are representative of the minimum knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.\nSKILLS AND ABILITIES\nAbility to operate forklifts or pallet jacks once authorized.\nAbility to drive and operate a box truck safely and obey all signs, signals, and other traffic rules.\nAttention to detail and good follow-up skills.\nAbility to read and interpret general business documents. \nAbility to write routine reports and general business correspondence. \nAbility to work with peers and communicate basic concepts.\nAbility to solve practical problems through standardized solutions that require limited judgment. \nAbility to follow prescribed and detailed procedures to solve routine problems.\nGood judgment;
