This position entails a wide remit and will review the whole operation, carrying out environmental\naudits and assessments, identifying and resolving environmental problems and ensuring necessary changes\nare implemented.\nJob Responsibilities 1\nManage and oversee the environmental performance of the organization including developing, implementing and monitoring environmental strategies that promote sustainable development.\nKeep abreast of international developments that can contribute to environmental best practices.\nProvide professional knowledge and expertise in the administration and support of the environmental programs.\nDevelop systems to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.\nManage the implementation of environmental policies and practices.\nImplement all the policies, procedures and norms as per the organization’s set of system.\nMonitor all the adopted practices of the organization pertaining to in-built environmental practices all across the project\nGenerate and maintain the reports, records and documents.\nMonitor and regulate Company's compliance with guidelines set forth by the organization, complying all the applicable international and local norms as per the applicability.\nDevelop and implement environmental strategies and action plans that ensure corporate sustainable development.\nManage all the different environmental strategies will be developed and implemented so that the organization’s long term vision for sustainability can be achieved.\nEnsure that the implication of best environmental practices will be adopted to improve the set system of the organization in an effective way.\nTake the lead on sustainable procurement for all goods and services.\nManage the environmental aspects will be included for adopting the best practices for enhancing positive environment aspects.\nJob Responsibilities 2\nEnsures that the positive approach should be shown in participation of any kind of raised environmental issues of the organization.\nNegotiates environmental service agreements and managing associated costs and revenues.\nDevelops and conducts presentations to persuade others to accept a specific opinion or action, or provide information and instruction.\nFosters a stimulating, accepting learning environment.\nSets priorities which accurately reflect the relative importance of job responsibilities.\nSupport the implementation of HSE initiatives, participate in safety awareness activities, and contribute to incident reporting and resolution in alignment with company and IMS policies\nAdditional Responsibilities 3\nJob Knowledge & Skills\nAble to perform at an advance level of Word, Excel, and Power Point. High skills in communication in\nEnglish. Knowledge of Environmental compliance, procedures, statutory requirements and compliance with\nQatar Regulations. Knowledge of ISO 14001.Understand ecosystems and biodiversity interactions. Knowledge of\nEnvironmental Management set of systems and standards. Technical expertise knowledge for various\nenvironmental issues.
