They lead and oversee a team of housekeeping staff, assigning duties, providing training, and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. Additionally, they are responsible for inspecting rooms, public areas, and facilities to ensure compliance with cleanliness and hygiene standards.\nJob Responsibilities 1\nEnsure that all public, guest-facing, and back of house areas of the hotel are properly cleaned and checked at all times.\nEnsure property health and safety requirements have been adhered to.\nEnsure that all staff are aware of and follow departmental SOP’s and LSOPs\nCoach and guide new team members of the team, putting in place proper orientation training and ongoing training and development for team members.\nAssist in managing relationships with suppliers.\nEnsure records are maintained for linen inventory, uniforms, and other items as applicable.\nEnsure that lost and found articles are stored properly and that the correct logs are maintained.\nEnsure that par levels of linen, towels, and uniforms are current, and in line with the inventory. Assess inventory of, assign for cleaning and inspect rooms.\nVerify and report status and/or discrepancies of rooms.\nDevelop and maintain a motivational working environment within the department and positive relations with other departments.\nLead, train, and supervise Room Attendants and Housepersons on a floor or designated area to ensure all rooms and public areas meet established cleanliness and quality standards.\nInitiate measures to minimize all wastage of materials and amenities used in the department.\nEnsure that proper key controls are in place.\nControl overtime through good management and immediate response to problems.\nCommunicate and coordinate with Engineering/ Property Operations to ensure efficient maintenance and repair of items related to guest rooms and public areas.\nPerform Room Attendant and/or Houseperson duties, as needed.\nAssist Task Force Missions required to support the opening of new properties, and other special events.\nJob Responsibilities 2\nEnsure VIP requirements are fully met as per their request.\nEnsure all special requests are met, with reference to families visiting our hotel with children.\nNeed to check pantry and room attendant trolleys at the end of the shift and ensure that to maintain up to standards.\nEnsure that deep cleaning of all areas needs to carry out on regular basis.\nContributes positively to sales activities and maximizes sales opportunities including being knowledgeable about hotel products, services, and facilities.\nManaging the team members.\nProviding duty roster for the team members.\nCoordinate with the third-party Company for the replacement of no-show team members.\nChecking the grooming standard of the team before releasing them for their duties.\nEnsure the team members are adhering to property Policies and procedures.\nEnsure the team members’ behaviour and characteristic are up to the hotel standards.\nAdditional Responsibilities 3\nJob Knowledge & Skills\nComprehensive understanding of housekeeping procedures, including cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and inventory management.\nStrong leadership and supervisory skills to effectively manage and motivate a team of housekeeping staff.\nAttention to detail to ensure cleanliness and orderliness in guest rooms, public areas, and facilities.\nExcellent communication skills to coordinate with staff, guests, and other departments to meet service expectations.\nKnowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe and healthy environment for guests and staff.\nERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.\n Job Experience\nMinimum 5 year(s) working experience, 3 year(s) relevant working experience, 2 year (s)
