This role is responsible for providing all necessary assistance to the construction team concerning all materials required for submittals, approvals, testing, sampling, etc., related to the project(s) main scope of works.\n Job Responsibilities 1\nDirectly Reporting to the Sr. Technical & Engineering Manager/Director in the absence of the Material Manager.\nUndertaking technical reviews and assessment of project materials specifications, providing comments, clarifications, and identifying risks as and when required.\nUnder the guidance of the Material Manager, generated material qualification documents, procurement specifications, and technical reports related to the full product material range. Ensures compliance with project specifications of all materials and legal requirements.\nExisting Vendor (s) / Service provider (s) technical support, develop and maintain technical liaison with vendors as part of continuous improvement, including responses to vendor material technology queries and clarifications as and when required.\nDevelops, maintains, and updates the technical library with the relevant suppliers/subcontractor’s profiles, brochures, and catalogs.\nReview supplier and subcontractor proposals in coordination with Construction to ensure the scope of work and commercial requirements are in line with the conditions as per the scope of work.\nPrepare comparison sheets for management review and attend site meetings as needed to coordinate procurement requirements.\n Job Responsibilities 2\nResponsible for preparing material submittals and subcontractor pre-qualifications, and shop drawings to consultants.\nAssists project construction team with obtaining client/consultant approvals on material/sub contractors when needed.\nPrepares Matrix of all requirements, identifies technical elements and detail options available.\nStudy contract documents to become thoroughly acquainted with exact requirements and specifications.\nRespond to sub-contractors, suppliers, and site team to clarify vendors'/service providers' queries.\nIdentification/Review of all technical material requirements and identify VE (Cost Savings) opportunities.\nAbility to prepare and maintain tracking schedules, material products, and market availability.\nSupport the implementation of HSE initiatives, participate in safety awareness activities, and contribute to incident reporting and resolution in alignment with company and IMS policies\nAdditional
