Manages the supply and delivery of procured items to the assigned Project location, including coordination with all shipping and freight forwarding agencies and custom authorities.\nJob Responsibilities 1\nCreate and implement best practice logistics principles, policies and processes across the organization to improve operational and financial performance.\nEnsure accuracy and timeliness of all inventory transactions and physical movement of materials from receipt to stocking distribution.\nDevelop and execute tools and methodologies to enable effective implementation of logistic plans. This includes designing and developing standard operating methods to manage logistics operations efficiently.\nContribute to the creation and implementation of best practice logistics vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve operational performance.\nPlan, manage and evaluate logistics operations liaising with internal stakeholders, suppliers, logistics providers, transportation companies and customers.\nDeliver solutions to logistics problems while maintaining high levels of quality and service within budgetary requirements.\nResolves problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports or customer issues.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives and identify inefficiencies and cost optimization opportunities.\nEnsure the integrity of inventory accuracy and manage stock movements with the help of direct reports.\nIdentify and resolve any inventory discrepancies and ensure inventory and system records are in agreement.\nInterpret trends and analyze and review data.
