Coordinates project teams, oversees mechanical installations, and implements strategies to optimize efficiency and performance in the mechanical engineering domain.\nJob Responsibilities 1\nEnsures the project discipline works are executed in accordance with the relevant contract documents inclusive of discipline drawings, specifications, BOQ, main contractor program and any superseding documents all in coordination with the other disciplines.\nEnsures that the Mechanical works are executed efficiently within the approved cost and time constraint and quality.\nEnsures the Mechanical works are executed in compliance with statutory authorities that has jurisdiction over the discipline scope of work i.e. DEWA, DM, CD, Health and Safety and all particular standards applicable to the project.\nEnsures adherence to the relevant Company policies and procedures.\nEnsures the satisfaction of the client, consultant and main contractor and MEP project manager at all times.\nGuide the project discipline engineers through the discipline project management process throughout the duration of the project.\nAssign specific targets to the various discipline engineers.\nVerify mechanical material procurement, submittal schedules, mechanical shop drawings schedules.\nJob Responsibilities 2\nPlan and allocate responsibilities to team members.\nApprove mechanical design calculations.\nPrepare monthly invoice application with QS.\nReview and sign-off mechanical material technical submittals and material requisitions before issuances.\nPrepare schedule of method statements in compliance with specifications and budget.\nLiaise with technical department for the relevant authorities approval.\nFull understanding of cost planning and commercial management, value engineering, commercial management and contract administration, estimation etc.\nEnsure to execute and maintain or participate in all measures for all works associated with the project site works.\nEnsure to support as requested the development, strategy, quantification, reconciliation for all project related claims whether to the client or from subcontractor as required.\nSupport the implementation of HSE initiatives, participate in safety awareness activities, and contribute to incident reporting and resolution in alignment with company and IMS policies\nAdditional
