procurement value to sustain a competitive edge.\nContribute to the creation and implementation of best practice procurement vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve operational performance.\nEngage and collaborate with both key internal and external stakeholders to develop strong relationships that will lead to improve service while reducing supply cost and ensure optimal performance.\nSupport the senior functional leaders to establish both short and long-term business objectives.\nEnsure utilizing expert industry knowledge and advanced business models to develop strategies and structure for business relationships.\nEnsure clear understanding of measurable goals that challenge Procurement to continuously improve and use financial and quantitative data to manage performance.\nAssist in the implementation of best practice purchasing policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve business performance and deliver best value and business savings and financial targets.\nMaintain and update information of suppliers, materials and services that meet business requirements.\nUpgrade Procurement talent in respective team by the attraction, development and retention of great resources.\nProvide regular feedback through coaching and mentoring the team to build professional expertise and motivated team responsible for interfacing with internal stakeholders and external third parties.\nAdhere in the department long-term cost reduction and value improvement plans for specific spend areas.\nJob Responsibilities 2\nEnsure utilizing all economies scale and best practices to win local battles.\nCommunicate the supply strategy and its implications, to inform and align the respective stakeholders.\nInteract on an executive/managerial level within and outside the business to ensure cross alignment in the spirit of long term partnership.\nContribute in leading the delivery of the savings and operating cash flow programme in his/her Categories, Cluster and/or Business Unit.\nMake timely decisions, balancing analysis with decisiveness.\nDevelop and make use of competitive insights to shape strategies that counter competitive threats.\nEffectively engage in maintaining all external networks, and continuously builds alliances that will enhance Business’ competitive advantage.\nRemoves organizational barriers to delivering exceptional internal and/or external customer service.\nPractices role model behaviour aligned with the operating framework.\nResponsible to manage and optimize the financial and budgetary requirements as required.\nIdentifies metrics, tools and processes to optimize sourcing, supplier activities and efficiencies.\nEvaluates the challenges faced by the business and take action to mitigate risks and develop opportunities.\nDrives continuous improvement, work simplification and the elimination of non-value-added work.\nDrives operational excellence in strategic sourcing.\nSupport the implementation of HSE initiatives, participate in safety awareness activities, and contribute to incident reporting and resolution in alignment with company and IMS policies\nAdditional Responsibilities 3\nJob Knowledge & Skills\nProficiency in engineering principles and technical specifications to understand project requirements and effectively communicate with suppliers.\nStrong analytical skills to evaluate supplier proposals, assess technical compliance, and identify cost-effective solutions.\nKnowledge of procurement processes and regulations to ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry standards.\nExcellent negotiation abilities to secure favorable terms, pricing, and delivery schedules with suppliers while maintaining quality standards.\nEffective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to meet project objectives and deadlines.\nERP knowledge preferably
