Provides daily financial oversight to ensure that the financial records are complete, accurate and comply with generally accepted accounting principles and policies.\nJob Responsibilities 1\nPerform general or cost accounting activities requiring some insight and depth of understanding.\nApply accounting techniques and standard practices to the classification and recording of financial transactions.\nEnsure proper handling of financial transactions and transactions approvals within designated limits Assists immediate superior in the preparation of MIS reports, budgets, and forecasts.\nPrepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards. Ensures the accuracy of data contained on all Financial Reports, and that information is clear and concise. Ensures proficient use of delegated software.\nAnalyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations, to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice.\nEnsure that records and analysis reflects the true and accurate measure of the business as presented in the graphs and are available on a real-time basis.\nEstablish tables of accounts, and recorded all entries to its proper accounts. Ensures that all entries are recorded to their assigned account numbers.\nEnsures that data is fluid and provides information as required.\nDevelop, maintain, and analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs. Ensures that analysis reflects true and accurate data of actual costs VS budgeted costs.\nDevelop, implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and accounting systems, making use of current computer technology. Ensures proficient use of assigned program aiming at real-time availability of financial reports.\nPerform internal audits of accounts payable, payroll distribution, fixed assets, and cash. May make correcting journal entries in assigned areas.\nEnsures accuracy of audits undertaken. Ensures accuracy in correcting journal entries.\nAppraise, evaluate, and conduct inventory of real property and equipment, recording information such as the property's description, value, and location. Ensures accuracy of data presented in an inventory, and that property and equipment are all accounted for within the inventory.\nJob Responsibilities 2\nAdditional Responsibilities 3\n Job Knowledge & Skills\nExcellent knowledge of Financial Processes. Knowledgeable in the latest accounting tools / software. Knowledgeable of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and practices.\nSound understanding of the month end process.\nKnowledge of the financial markets and banking.
