You will work at the intersection of Operations, Product and Technology, identifying opportunities to improve how we work, addressing complex systems challenges and driving improvements in vendor performance. \nThe role combines people leadership, systems thinking, problem solving and supplier management. You will also help identify where automation, AI and other technology enhancements can improve scalability, operational efficiency and the client and shopper experience.\nWhat you'll do \nDeliver the Supply Chain Systems strategy, translating operational priorities into a clear roadmap of systems improvements and initiatives. \nLead a team of Supply Chain Systems specialists, creating clarity on priorities, ownership and expected outcomes. \nIdentify and lead improvements across systems, automation and AI that help ESW scale operations, improve efficiency and enhance the client and shopper experience. \nPartner closely with Product and Technology teams to translate supply chain challenges into clear requirements and priorities and drive issues through to resolution. \nLead the resolution of complex systems and operational issues, using structured root cause analysis to move beyond immediate fixes and drive sustainable solutions. \nLead ESW's Supplier Management Programme, establishing effective performance reviews, scorecards, KPIs and improvement actions with supply chain vendors. \nBuild strong cross-functional relationships across Operations, Trade Compliance, Solutions, Sourcing, Product and Technology to deliver joined-up supply chain solutions. \nCoordinate systems escalations across teams, ensuring that the right stakeholders are engaged and that actions and dependencies are managed through to resolution. \nUse operational and systems data to identify trends and opportunities, helping prioritise improvements and measure their impact. \nConduct vendor and operational site reviews where required, using insights from these reviews to identify opportunities for service and process improvement. \nWhat we're looking for \nStrong knowledge of supply chain or logistics operations, including how systems, processes and vendors interact to deliver an effective service. \nDemonstrated success in identifying systems or process improvements and translating operational challenges into clear requirements and solutions. \nAbility to simplify complex operational or technical issues and communicate them effectively to different audiences. \nA strong track record of leading and developing people, setting clear priorities and creating accountability for results. \nProven expertise in managing supplier or vendor relationships, including performance management, KPIs, service reviews, escalations and improvement actions. \nA collaborative approach to working across operational and technical teams, with a track record of delivering outcomes where ownership sits across multiple functions. \nDesirable: an understanding of supply chain cost drivers, including cost-per-package and operational costs, with the capacity to use this insight to support vendor, systems and operational decisions. \nDesirable: experience delivering automation or AI-enabled improvements within an operational environment. \nFlexibility to travel to vendor, client and operational locations when required. \nAbout ESW\nOur purpose is simple: to create moments that matter between people and the brands they cherish.
