Extensive software development experience in MS C++ is required, and development experience in electric power system simulation software is a plus.\nDuties and Responsibilities\nResearch, design, write specifications, and prototype for various power system modeling.\nLead and develop in the ETAP software environment.\nSupport ETAP marketing, workshops, and technical support.\nLead and supervise engineering service projects.\nQualifications\nA Professional Electrical Engineer license is required.\n5 to 10 years’ relevant experience.\nExperience in modeling and analysis of power system studies.\nCapabilities in researching, designing, and testing of various power system simulation models.\nAbility to follow various industrial standards and write specifications.\nHighly motivated, self-managed, details-oriented, and well-organized; good problem-solving and analytical skills.\nDesirable to have experience in developing simulation software with Microsoft Visual C++.\nDesirable to have experience in power system software development.\nEducation\nMS or PhD in Power System Engineering or Electrical Engineering. An MS degree in Computer Science is a plus.\nSalary range: $125,000 - 195,000 Annual\nThis pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation that the position offers, and final compensation can vary within the range depending on work location, job experience, skills, and relevant educational attainment and/or training.\nETAP requires all successful applicants to undergo and pass a comprehensive background check before they start employment.
