The role involves leading complex\npower system studies, delivering ETAP-based training, and providing expert customer\nsupport across UK and European markets.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead Grid Code compliance and Transient Stability studies\nPerform load flow, short circuit, dynamic and protection studies\nApply UK and European Grid Codes in system studies\nDevelop and validate ETAP models for dynamic analysis\nProvide advanced customer support and consultancy\nDeliver ETAP training and technical workshops\nSupport pre-sales, demos and customer engagement\nMentor engineers and drive technical excellence\nSkills and Experience\n7+ years in power system analysis\nExpert in transient stability and dynamic simulation\nStrong knowledge of Grid Codes (UK & Europe)\nAdvanced ETAP or similar software experience\nExperience in training delivery and customer support\nStrong analytical and communication skills\nEducation\nDegree in Electrical Engineering\nPostgraduate preferred\nChartered Engineer (CEng) preferred\nLocation\nCentral Milton Keynes\nSalary and benefits\nWe have a very strong focus on people and reward our employees with competitive\nsalary packages and associated benefits.\nETAP requires all successful applicants to undergo and pass a comprehensive background check before they start employment.
