Engineering software development experience in Microsoft Visual C++ is required and development experience in electric power system simulation software is a plus.\nKey responsibilities\nResearch, design, write specifications and prototypes for various power system modeling.\n\nDevelop software in ETAP environment.\n\nSupport ETAP marketing, workshops and technical support.\n\nLead engineering service projects.\n\nEssential requirements\n3 to 5 years’ relevant experience in modeling and analysis of power system studies.\n\nCapabilities in researching, designing and testing of various power system simulation models.\n\nAbility to follow various industrial standards and write specifications.\n\nHighly motivated, self-managed, details-oriented, and well-organized; good problem solving and analytical skills.\n\nDesirable to have experience in developing simulation software with Microsoft Visual C++.\n\nPreferable to have experience in power system software development\n\nEducation\nMS or PhD in Power System Engineering or Electrical Engineering. A MS degree in Computer Science is a plus.\n\nSalary Range:\n87,500.00 - 140,000.00 USD Annual\nThis pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation that the position offers, and final compensation can vary within the range depending on work location, job experience, skills, and relevant educational attainment and/or training.\nETAP requires all successful applicants to undergo and pass a comprehensive background check before they start employment.
