This is a hands-on, customer-facing position for an engineer who has taken microgrid and power system projects from study through to field commissioning, and who is excited to work on projects around the world.\nYou will bridge power system engineering, control and operation, and software development - bringing both deep technical expertise and project ownership.\nWhat You'll Do\nLead power system and microgrid studies and analyses, from concept and design to the operation.\nDesign, model, and validate the control and operation strategies for microgrids.\nContribute to development for microgrid controller functionalities using C# and Python.\nTechnically lead projects while serving as a technical point of contact for customers.\nSupport microgrid projects in the field, including testing and commissioning.\nCollaborate with internal engineering teams and clients across worldwide projects.\nRequired Qualifications\nPhD with 3+ years of relevant experience, or Master's with 5+ years of relevant experience in power systems / electrical engineering.\nDemonstrated experience with microgrids and power systems, including delivered field projects.\nStrong background in power system studies and analyses.\nFamiliarity with the control and operation of microgrids.\nProficiency in programming languages, C# and Python.\nTechnical project leadership experience and a genuine willingness to interact directly with customers.\nWillingness and ability to work on and travel to worldwide projects.\nLegally authorized to work in US- visa sponsorship is not available for this position.\nPlus to Have\nExperience with dynamic analysis and PSCAD.\nExperience with PLC programming and integration.\nSalary Range: 87,500.00 - 145,500.00 USD Annual\nThis pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation that the position offers, and final compensation can vary within the range depending on work location, job experience, skills, and relevant educational attainment and/or training.\nETAP requires all successful applicants to undergo and pass a comprehensive background check before they start employment.
