We are building intelligent systems for logistics platform, route optimization, driver management, API integration, real-time tracking, and logistics automation.\n\nWe are looking for a Senior Python Backend Developer to help design, build, and scale the backend architecture powering the Etavista platform.\n\nResponsibilities\n\n Design and develop scalable backend services using Python.\n\n Build and maintain REST APIs and service integrations.\n\n Develop backend services for order management, dispatching, driver management, pricing, payments, tracking, and notifications.\n\n Build systems supporting AI-powered scheduling, route optimization, and driver matching.\n\n Design reliable asynchronous/background processing workflows.\n\n Integrate third-party logistics, mapping, payment, CRM, messaging, and enterprise APIs.\n\n Design and optimize relational database models and complex queries.\n\n Improve application performance, scalability, security, and reliability.\n\n Develop microservices and event-driven backend components.\n\n Implement automated testing, monitoring, logging, and error handling.\n\n Review code and establish backend engineering standards.\n\n Work closely with frontend, mobile, QA, DevOps, product, and operations teams.\n\n Participate in architecture and technical design decisions.\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\n 5+ years of professional Python backend development experience with real projects on production.\n\n Strong experience with FastAPI, Django, or Flask.\n\n Advanced knowledge of REST API design and integration.\n\n Strong experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.\n\n Experience with Redis and caching strategies.\n\n Experience with asynchronous processing such as Celery, RabbitMQ, Kafka, or equivalent technologies.\n\n Strong understanding of microservices and distributed system architecture.\n\n Experience with Docker and cloud deployments.\n\n Experience with AWS services and production cloud environments.\n\n Experience with Git, CI/CD, automated testing, logging, and monitoring.\n\n Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and clean-code principles.\n\nPreferred Experience\n\n Logistics, transportation, e-commerce, marketplaces, or supply-chain platforms.\n\n AI/LLM integrations and AI-agent workflows.\n\n Real-time location tracking and WebSockets.\n\n High-volume scheduling and matching systems.\n\n SaaS and multi-tenant platform architecture.\n\n Experience building highly available systems handling large numbers of concurrent transactions.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\n\n We are looking for someone who is more than a feature developer.
