The migration target is at least 98% of APIs passing validation on the first try, and your tests are how we get there.\n\nWhat you will do:\nWrite automated API tests for REST and SOAP services, covering status codes, headers, payloads and authentication.\nBuild functional equivalency tests that send identical requests to the webMethods and Kong versions of an API and flag any difference.\nAdd tests to CI/CD pipelines so every API change and migration wave is checked before release.\nTest security behavior, including mTLS, OAuth2 and JWT handling, ACLs and rate limits.\nRun smoke tests after production changes and migration cutovers.\nKeep test data, test cases and results organized and traceable to each API.\nReport defects clearly and confirm fixes.\n\nWhat you bring:\n1 to 2 years in software testing, QA automation, or API development.\nExperience testing REST APIs with a tool such as Postman, REST Assured, Karate, pytest or SoapUI.\nScripting or programming in Python, Java or JavaScript.\nBasic understanding of HTTP, JSON, XML and API authentication.\nFamiliarity with Git and running tests in a CI pipeline.\nBachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent experience.\nAbility to obtain and keep an IRS Moderate Background Investigation (MBI);
