As a Procurement Specialist at eternal.ag, you’ll own how the parts that power our robots are sourced, bought, moved, and stored across Germany, the EU, the US, and India.\nEvery Harvester we deploy depends on hundreds of components from suppliers and contract manufacturers around the world. Your mission is simple: get the right parts to the right place, at the right cost, exactly when they’re needed.\nYou’ll be based in our Bengaluru office, working closely with the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) team, the manufacturing team and our team in Cologne. As our robots evolve, you’ll turn changing designs and bills of materials into a procurement operation that can keep up.\nThe opportunity? Build the procurement backbone of a fast-scaling hardware company from the ground up.\nThe challenge? Lead times shift. Customs cause delays. Suppliers miss dates. BOMs change. You’ll need to move fast, stay ahead of problems, and make smart calls with incomplete information.\nWhat You’ll Do\nRun international purchasing end to end\nSource, quote, negotiate and place orders with suppliers in Germany, the EU, the US and India, from request to goods receipt and invoice match.\nBuild and manage the supplier base\nQualify new suppliers, compare offers on cost, quality and lead time, and keep performance visible so we can act early when a supplier slips.\nWork hand in hand with PLM and Manufacturing\nTranslate engineering change orders and bills of materials into purchase plans, flag long-lead or single-source parts early, and propose alternatives when a part becomes a risk.\nCoordinate cross-border logistics\nPlan shipments between Germany and customer sites in Europe and the US, handle Incoterms, export and customs documentation, and work with freight forwarders to keep parts moving.\nOwn inventory accuracy\nTrack stock across locations, set reorder points for critical components, and keep our inventory records matched to invoices and delivery notes.\nImprove how we buy\nTurn recurring purchases into standard processes, templates and approval flows, and report spend and savings in a format finance can use.\nWho you are\nPrecise and reliable: your numbers, documents and promises to suppliers hold up.\n\nHands-on: you chase a delayed shipment yourself rather than wait for an update.\n\nA strong collaborator who speaks the language of engineers and suppliers alike.\n\nCalm under ambiguity: you make a sound call when the bill of materials is still moving.\n\nWilling to challenge a spec or a price early, and then commit to the decision.\n\nCore requirements\n1-3 years in procurement, purchasing or supply chain for hardware, electronics, automotive or industrial machinery.\n\nProven experience buying internationally, including import and export from India and at least one of the EU or US.\n\nWorking knowledge of Incoterms, customs documentation and freight forwarding.\n\nExperience with inventory management and an ERP or inventory tool.\n\nComfortable reading bills of materials and technical drawings with engineers.\n\nFluent English, written and spoken.\n\nBonus points if you have\nExperience in robotics, mechatronics or a hardware start-up.\n\nSourcing experience with sheet metal, CNC parts, electronics or EMS partners.\n\nKnowledge of Indian GST and import duty processes, or EU customs procedures.\n\nWhat we offer\nReal ownership: You will set up and run procurement for a fleet of
