releases.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, and maintain scalable UI automation frameworks using Playwright.\nDevelop automated test scripts using TypeScript/JavaScript for functional, regression, smoke, and end-to-end testing.\nAutomate testing of modern web applications across multiple browsers using Playwright.\nBuild reusable test components, fixtures, utilities, and page objects.\nPerform API testing and automation using Playwright API capabilities and/or tools such as Postman.\nAnalyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios and automation scripts.\nExecute automated test suites, analyze failures, troubleshoot issues, and report defects with clear supporting evidence.\nIntegrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or equivalent platforms.\nWork closely with development teams to identify testability issues and improve overall product quality.\nMaintain test data and support testing across development, QA, staging, and production-like environments.\nParticipate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, defect triage, and release activities.\nContinuously improve automation coverage, execution speed, stability, and maintainability.\nRequired Skills & Experience\n3-5 years of experience in software testing, with strong hands-on experience in test automation.\nStrong hands-on experience with Playwright automation.\nStrong programming skills in TypeScript and/or JavaScript.\nExperience designing or contributing to automation frameworks using Page Object Model (POM) or similar patterns.\nGood understanding of DOM, HTML, CSS, XPath, and browser-based application testing.\nExperience with API testing, REST APIs, JSON, and HTTP methods/status codes.\nExperience with cross-browser and end-to-end testing.\nHands-on experience with Git and source-control workflows.\nExperience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.\nStrong understanding of testing concepts, including functional, regression, integration, smoke, and exploratory testing.\nExperience with defect tracking and Agile tools such as Jira or equivalent.\nStrong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.\nPreferred Skills\nExperience with Playwright Test Runner, fixtures, hooks, assertions, tracing, screenshots, videos, and reporting.\nExperience with parallel execution and optimizing automation suites for faster execution.\nKnowledge of database validation and SQL.\nExperience testing applications built using React, Angular, or similar modern web frameworks.\nFamiliarity with cloud environments such as AWS or Azure.\nExperience with test reporting solutions such as Allure or equivalent.\nUnderstanding of accessibility, performance, and security testing concepts is an advantage.\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.\nStrong communication and collaboration skills.\nAbility to work independently as well as within cross-functional Agile
