This responsibility includes developing firmware that configures, controls, and monitors the communication device and interacts with the host system via device drivers to expose hardware features of the devices.\nAs a part of the Software team, you will be responsible for architecture, design, implementation, testing, and integration of firmware rolled into Ethernovia’s SDK. This firmware is built ground-up for safety-critical automotive applications.\nWe build products with strict adherence to Functional Safety, and every team member is required to embrace a culture of safety and best development practices.\nTECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.\nMinimum 5 years of relevant industry experience. (5-8 Years only)\nStrong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle including architecture, implementation, and testing fundamentals.\nProficient in C/C++; experience with Python is a plus.\nExperience with firmware development, preferably for communication devices such as Ethernet.\nExperience with integration and testing of firmware and low-level code.\nHands-on experience with hardware and embedded processors, preferably for communication devices.\nExpertise in efficient coding practices for code footprint and performance optimization.\nNICE TO HAVE\nExperience with simulation and emulation platforms.\nFamiliarity with GNU or similar compiler and debugging suites.\nEmbedded programming with communication devices and hardware buses such as I2C, SPI, Ethernet, and USB.\nExperience building automotive or safety-critical systems using qualification methods and processes such as MISRA, ASPICE, and ISO 26262.\nKnowledge of communication protocols including Ethernet MAC, PHY, Switching, TCP/IP, Security, SerDes, PCIe, NTB, and SR-IOV.\nCode version control and review tools/processes such as Perforce/Git and Swarm.\nAutomation and DevOps tools such as Jenkins.\nMixed-signal systems experience including Analog, Digital, and Digital Signal Processing (DSP).\nFamiliarity with ARM processor families or similar embedded processors.\nExperience with
