As part of our strategy for continued growth, Ethos and Hanley Pepper are now recruiting for global expansion.\nAbout the Job\nThis is a full-time, Dublin-based hybrid rol e, with three days per week in the office. As a Senior Engineer - Structural, you will carry out structural calculations and analysis and manage a team of engineers and technicians to deliver projects, liaising with architects and other design team members, attending client meetings, presenting updates and deliverables to clients, and reporting on project progress to management. The role supports a portfolio of complex buildings and infrastructure projects, including data centres\nResponsibilities:\nCarry out structural calculations, conduct structural analysis and engage in structural engineering tasks.\n\nManage a team of engineers and technicians to deliver projects.\n\nUse CADS, SCIA and Revit (Revit for modelling rather than drawing production) and collaborate with design teams, ensuring projects are completed on time, on budget and to the highest standards.\n\nLiaise with architects and other design team members.\n\nAttend client meetings and present updates and deliverables to clients.\n\nReport on project progress to management.\n\nCarry out site visits across Europe to monitor works for progress and quality.\n\nAbout You\nA senior structural engineer who is strong in calculations and structural analysis and can manage a team of engineers and technicians.\n\nA confident communicator and project manager who engages effectively with clients, architects and design teams.\n\nSomeone who takes pride in delivering projects on time, on budget and to the highest standards.\n\nBased in Dublin and able to work in the office three days per week, or willing to relocate to Dublin.\n\nHolds unrestricted travel rights within the Schengen area.\n\nExperience & Qualifications\nMaster’s degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or a related field.\n\nAt least 5 years’ experience in Structural Engineering with a good knowledge of Civil Engineering.\n\nIrish or UK project experience, with knowledge of local standards and practices.\n\nExperience on data centre projects is a plus; experience on complex buildings or infrastructure projects is an acceptable alternative.\n\nChartered status is advantageous; the company will actively support you in achieving this status.\n\nTechnical Skills\nStrong skills in calculations and structural analysis.\n\nWorking knowledge of CADS, SCIA and Revit (Revit for modelling rather than drawing production).\n\nGood overall knowledge of structural engineering, including concrete, steel, precast and foundation design.\n\nKnowledge of Eurocodes and their European national annexes, including seismic design (EN 1998), is advantageous.\n\nPreferred skills (experience or even interest appreciated; on-the-job training can be provided): Dynamo/Grasshopper for visual scripting and process automation; Python scripting for custom tools and data processing; Revit/SCIA API development (C#).\n\nEssential software: Structural analysis and design software: SCIA Engineer and CADS preferred, or equivalent (e.g. Tekla Structural Designer, Robot, RFEM); Bluebeam Revu (drawing reviews and markups); Microsoft 365.\n\nDesirable software: AutoCAD, Revit or Navisworks (model coordination).\n\nSoft Skills\nExcellent problem-solving and project management skills.\n\nEffective communication and team management abilities.\n\nWhy Join Us?\nJoin collaborative leaders -
