Ethos is redefining how life insurance is bought, sold, and underwritten.\nAbout the Role\nThe HR Systems Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Global HRIS operations. This role requires a hands-on approach, where the incumbent will actively engage in day-to-day HRIS / HR operations to ensure smooth functioning and address operational challenges promptly. The role also requires a strategic thinker who can effectively leverage technology to configure and streamline HR processes, improve data accuracy, and enhance the overall employee experience. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in HR operations and HRIS, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of SaaS HR Information System and configuring HRIS processes and programs including, but not limited to Headcount 365, Greenhouse, BambooHR.\nDuties & Responsibilities:\nLead complex, cross-functional HRIS initiatives, including implementation of new Headcount365 and BambooHR functionality, modules, and major enhancements.\nOwn and influence the HRIS roadmap by partnering with senior HR and business stakeholders to align system strategy with organizational priorities.\nTranslate complex business requirements into scalable system solutions, proactively identifying risks, dependencies, and downstream impacts.\nLead resolution of highly complex HRIS issues, including root cause analysis, system design decisions, and long-term corrective solutions.\nProvide technical leadership for annual and enterprise-wide HR programs (e.g., performance management, promotions, compliance reporting, payroll year-end).\nPartner with IT and vendors to support integrations, upgrades, and security maintenance across the HR systems ecosystem.\nEstablish and maintain high-quality system documentation, standards, and reporting frameworks to support scale and consistency.\nMentor and guide HRIS analysts through knowledge sharing, design reviews, and best-practice coaching, without direct people management responsibility.\nQualifications & Skills:\n5+ years of hands-on HRIS experience. \nBachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.\nDemonstrated experience leading complex HRIS or enterprise system initiatives.\nStrong understanding of HR processes, data governance, security concepts, and systems architecture.\nExperience with reporting, testing, security design , and process automation within HR technology platforms.\nDemonstrated problem-solving, stakeholder management, and project leadership skills.\nAbility to communicate complex technical concepts to business and technical audiences.\n#LI-Remote #LI-AG1\n\nThe US national base salary range for this full-time position is $122,000 - $214,000. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations.
