You’ll work cross-functionally to uncover root causes, design remediations, and support initiatives to improve and future-proof our systems. In this position you will support product and engineering teams along with compliance, helping to ensure Ethos maintains a high bar for customer experience, operational accuracy, and compliance by digging into data to answer the \"why\" behind the numbers.\nDuties & Responsibilities\nMonitor key data and processes to proactively identify, track, and report issues, anomalies, or areas of risk\nPartner with business areas to surface and prioritize concerns, and translate them into clear, actionable findings\nInvestigate complex issues independently, digging into large datasets to identify root causes\nWork closely with engineering and product teams to scope, resolve, and validate fixes for identified issues\nProactively generate exploratory analyses and in-depth research on large data sets to help product teams uncover high-impact opportunities in the areas of risk\nPresent findings and recommendations to product managers and stakeholders in a way that drives action\nWork cross-functionally to scale insights through improved monitoring and automation\nHelp build a data-informed culture by making insights easy to find, understand, and act on\nAnalyze results and help translate them into clear takeaways for the team\nQualifications & Skills\n2+ years of experience in data analysis, data science, or data-driven product management\nStrong skills and comfort working with large datasets\nExperience with a data visualization tool (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Mode)\nWorking knowledge of basic statistical concepts (e.g., regression, confidence intervals)\n1+ years of experience with SQL preferred\nStrong critical thinking skills and ability to intuitively connect data points\nSkilled in leveraging data and analytical tools to support decisions and provide actionable insights\nDemonstrated ability to investigate complex issues independently, identify root causes, and propose effective solutions\nClear written and verbal communication skills, able to explain data findings to a non-technical audience\n#LI-Hybrid\n#LI-KP1\nDon’t meet every single requirement?
