You’ll partner closely with cross-functional teams to implement modern IT solutions, strengthen our security posture, and drive operational excellence through automation, AI-powered agents, workflow design, and thoughtful system integration. You’ll help identify opportunities to eliminate repetitive manual work, improve how our core platforms connect and operate, and serve as a technical bridge between IT and software engineering teams. We value proactive problem solving, technical leadership, an automation-first mindset, and a security-first approach, and you’ll play a key role in shaping our internal standards, integrations, and IT strategy.\nDuties and Responsibilities:\nDesign, implement, and manage a fully cloud-based IT environment, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security across a range of SaaS platforms.\nDesign, build, and operate workflow automation across the IT landscape using platforms such as Okta, Serval, and related iPaaS tooling.\nBuild, maintain, and manage the end-to-end lifecycle of AI-powered agents and automations that streamline IT workflows, shift routine requests to self-service, and remain reliable, monitored, and auditable.\nEngineer and manage integrations between core systems (Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, HR/finance platforms, and engineering tooling) using REST APIs, webhooks, and SCIM.\nManage API integrations across IT systems, including authentication, security, monitoring, and lifecycle management.\nPartner closely with software engineering teams to align on shared services, developer tooling, integrations, and standards.\nBuild joiner-mover-leaver (JML) and birthright access automation, with appropriate guardrails and audit logging for SOX- and PII-scoped systems.\nAnalyze ticketing and operational data to identify repetitive tasks suitable for automation and prioritize opportunities for implementation.\nApply a security-first mindset to everything you build, following least-privilege principles and partnering with Security to keep automations compliant.\nDevelop and maintain clear documentation, runbooks, and integration standards so automations are maintainable and knowledge is not siloed.\nAct as a senior escalation point for complex IT issues, conducting deep root cause analysis and implementing long-term solutions.\nQualifications and Skills: \n5+ years of experience in IT engineering, systems administration, or a related role in a cloud-first environment.\nProven experience designing, building, and managing integrations across SaaS platforms using REST APIs, webhooks, OAuth, and SCIM.\nHands-on experience with low-code/no-code AI and automation tools and iPaaS platforms (e.g., Okta Workflows, Serval, Workato, Zapier, or equivalent).\nExperience building or integrating AI agents and bots.\nExperience managing Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, and common device management tools such as Jamf and Intune.\nAbility to work effectively with software engineering teams, with a solid understanding of version control (Git), CI/CD concepts, shared APIs, and services.\nSecurity-first mindset, with familiarity applying least-privilege principles and supporting compliance frameworks such as SOX and SOC 2.\nStrong troubleshooting and root-cause-analysis skills, with the ability to design durable, long-term solutions.\nExperience with Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) or modern network security approaches.\nStrong communication skills, able to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders and across time zones.\nStrong documentation skills.\nProofpoint experience is a plus.\nNice to have:\nHands-on programming/scripting ability - Python and JavaScript preferred - for building integrations and automations.\nExperience with AI orchestration or agent platforms (e.g. Serval, Forethought, or LLM-based tooling).\nExposure to standing up or scaling a global capability centre (GCC).\n#LI-SP1\n#LI-Hybrid\nDon’t meet every single requirement?
