This is a hands-on technical leadership role responsible for owning and driving the end-to-end monitoring framework for all Atlas5 production environments.\n\nKey Responsibilities : \n\nMonitoring Framework Ownership : \n\n- Own the design, implementation, and ongoing management of the Atlas5 monitoring framework across all 5 layers : Infrastructure, Data Tier, Application, Integration, and File Exchange.\n\n- Define and configure alert thresholds, severity levels, and escalation paths.\n\n- Ensure every alert triggers a Jira incident ticket and DevOps channel notification within defined SLA.\n\n- Enforce mandatory RCA completion for all P1-Critical incidents.\n\nTool Selection & Implementation : \n\n- Evaluate and implement monitoring toolsets (Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic, SigNoz, Zabbix, Dynatrace).\n\n- Build a cost-effective hybrid monitoring stack.\n\n- Integrate monitoring tools with Jira Service Management.\n\n- Build and maintain unified monitoring dashboards.\n\nSRE Practice & Incident Management : \n\n- Define and maintain SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets.\n\n- Lead incident response for P1-Critical production incidents.\n\n- Configure auto-escalation for unacknowledged Critical alerts.\n\n- Conduct regular alert quality reviews.\n\nAzure Observability Engineering : \n\n- Configure and manage Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.\n\n- Design and manage KQL queries for alerting and reporting.\n\n- Optimize monitoring costs through Metric Alert migration.\n\n- Instrument applications with Open Telemetry.\n\nRequired Experience & Skills : \n\n- 8 -
