In this role, you will rapidly build, test, and evaluate agentic MVPs using Python, APIs, and LLM frameworks. You will design rigorous evaluation pipelines to prove accuracy, latency, and ROI, ensuring all agents align with company principles. Once validated, you will act as the key technical stakeholder translating prototypes into clean specifications for our core Technology team to scale.\nResponsibilities\n Rapid Prototyping & MVP Engineering\nBuild functional end-to-end agents using Python, LLM frameworks, APIs, and databases.\n\nSpin up infrastructure (vector/relational databases, docker containers) for real-world\n\ntesting.\n\nSelect architectural patterns (API wrappers, lightweight RAG, function calling).\n\nIterate based on business feedback and discard when concepts prove unviable.\n\nData Rigor & Technical Evaluation\nDesign evaluation pipelines to benchmark accuracy, hallucination rates, latency, and cost.\n\nBuild ground-truth labeled evaluation sets with business owners to validate production\n\nreadiness.\n\nAnalyze discrepancies between agent outputs and human decisions during pilots.\n\nSupport business stakeholders in taking responsibility for prompts and business logic\n\nContinuously test new AI models and tools against internal benchmarks.\n\nFeasibility & Technical Discovery\nAssess operational workflows with strategy teams to determine agentic feasibility and\n\nscope difficulty.\n\nEvaluate new agent architectures and AI tooling to recommend core platform adoption.\n\nHandoff & Platform Stakeholder\nServe as the primary technical stakeholder to the core technology AI platform team.\n\nTranslate validated MVPs into clear technical specs, architecture diagrams, and data\n\nflows.\n\nPartner with AI platform team to ensure seamless absorption of MVP logic into internal\n\nSDKs.\n\nRequirements\nMust Have\n3+ years software engineering experience with strong Python and rapid prototyping skills.\n\nHands-on experience with LLM orchestration (tool use, RAG, structured outputs via\n\nLangChain, LlamaIndex, LiteLLM, or APIs).\n\nProficiency in API design, SQL, and relational/vector databases.\n\nExperience using evaluation frameworks (Ragas, DeepEval, LangSmith) to benchmark\n\nperformance.\n\nAgile, pragmatic mindset for fast experimentation outside traditional sprint cycles.\n\nAbility to convert complex business logic into concise specs for engineering teams.\nNice to Have\nBackground as a Forward-Deployed Engineer, Solutions Architect, or similar fast-delivery\n\nrole.\n\nFamiliarity with modern deployment stacks (FastAPI, Docker, serverless).\n\nDomain experience in travel tech, airline distribution, or payments.\n\nBasic product management understanding (ROI tracking, KPIs, user validation).\n\nBenefits\nThe culture at Etraveli Group embraces complexity and we like to keep the entrepreneurial spirit even as we grow into being a larger company.
