About the Role
We are looking for a Software Quality Assurance Engineer who takes ownership of product quality, actively performs manual testing activities, and contributes to the continuous improvement of our testing practices through automation and AI-powered quality engineering approaches.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related fields,
- 2+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance,
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC and quality assurance processes,
- Hands-on experience in manual testing of web, mobile and API-based applications,
- Experience creating and executing test plans, test cases and regression test suites,
- Knowledge of backend testing tools such as Postman, Swagger or similar platforms,
- Experience using Jira and test management tools,
- Knowledge of SQL and database validation techniques,
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams,
- Excellent communication, collaboration abilities and strong problem-solving skills,
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation habits,
- For male candidates completion of military service or minimum 2 years of postponed,
- Living in Istanbul due to hybrid working. Preferably on the Anatolian side.
Responsibilities
- Own the quality assurance process for the products under your responsibility,
- Design, create, maintain and execute manual test cases and test scenarios,
- Perform functional, regression, integration, user acceptance and exploratory testing activities,
- Conduct end-to-end testing for web, mobile and backend applications,
- Validate newly developed features and ensure release readiness,
- Work closely with Product Owners, Developers and Business Analysts to ensure quality requirements are met,
- Support automation initiatives and collaborate with the Test Automation team,
- Continuously improve test coverage, testing efficiency and quality standards,
- Utilize AI-powered tools to enhance testing effectiveness and productivity,
- Research and evaluate emerging testing technologies, including autonomous testing and AI-assisted quality engineering solutions,
- Share product knowledge, quality insights and improvement recommendations with the team.
