Accountable for the accuracy, efficiency, and safety of warehouse operations, including order picking, receiving, and outbound shipments, while supporting key performance metrics and continuous improvement initiatives.\nDuties & Responsibilities:\nAssist with directing and supervising hourly warehouse personnel to ensure safe, efficient, and productive operations\n\nPartner with and back up the Warehouse Supervisor and Warehouse Coordinator in daily operations and decision-making\n\nCoordinate dock operations, including managing inbound/outbound trucks, dock scheduling, and ensuring all safety protocols are followed\n\nEnsure all incoming freight is properly inspected, verified, and dispositioned in a timely manner\n\nAssist with order verification and coordinate the accurate and efficient loading of outbound freight to meet customer delivery requirements\n\nMonitor and support key performance indicators such as on-time shipment, order accuracy, inventory accuracy, and labor productivity\n\nParticipate in and support continuous improvement initiatives related to workflow, layout, and material handling to improve throughput and reduce errors\n\nEnforce and model compliance with all safety policies, operating procedures, and housekeeping standards\n\nProcess inbound and outbound freight transactions in SAP, ensuring accuracy and timely processing\n\nAssist in training and onboarding of new employees and reinforcing standard work practices\n\nPerform other duties as assigned\n\nEducation and Experience:\nHigh School Diploma or GED required.\nDOT 49 CFR HAZMAT certified or ability to obtain certification.\nPrevious warehouse experience required\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).\nExperience with SAP is a plus.\nForklift and/or Reach Truck experience preferred\nPhysical Requirements:\nVision and manual dexterity for frequent keyboard / PC use. Vision sufficient to read labels & tickets, and to safely navigate high volume pedestrian and machine traffic. \nAbility to move throughout the Distribution Center.\nWhy join our team?
