In addition to scheduled PMs, this role involves troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems as needed to minimize unplanned downtime. Technicians will also assist with equipment installations, fabrication, and continuous improvement efforts.\nResponsibilities and Duties:\nPerform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks to reduce downtime and improve equipment life\nWeld and fabricate components for equipment repair or modification as needed\nTroubleshoot, repair, and rebuild a wide variety of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment\nDiagnose and repair AC/DC electrical systems using meters, schematics, and other test equipment\nRead and interpret mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics\nAccurately complete and update maintenance records using SAP’s Plant Maintenance Module\nAssist with identifying repairs, documenting short- and long-term needs\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe maintenance work area\nOperate mobile equipment such as forklifts, man lifts, and scissor lifts\nWork at heights, in confined spaces, and in various environmental conditions\nComply with all OSHA, company, and site-specific safety policies and procedures\nPerform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor\nEducation, Experience, and Qualifications:\n5+ years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or similar environment\nStrong mechanical knowledge, including troubleshooting and repair of pumps, gearboxes, motors, chains, sprockets, pulleys, and belts\nProficient in reading and interpreting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics\nSkilled in welding, fabrication, and use of cutting equipment\nBasic computer skills, including the use of email and maintenance\nHigh school diploma or GED required; technical certifications or training is a plus\nRequirements:\nMust be able to work Monday - Friday from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, with occasional overtime based on production and maintenance needs.\nSelf-motivated individual who can work independently with minimal supervision.\nPhysical Requirements:\nThe ability to stand, walk, lift, and move for extended periods. Regular activities include standing, walking, using hands to handle or feel objects, reaching with arms, speaking, and hearing. Frequent actions include climbing or balancing, while occasional tasks may involve sitting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. \nThe technician must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds. \nVision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
