This critical role involves a blend of UX research and product design responsibilities focused on developing legal intelligence products for Fortune 500 companies. You'll be diving deep into understanding how enterprise users interact with AI-powered technology and translating these insights into compelling, user-friendly designs.\nKey Responsibilities:\nCreate and refine design mock-ups and prototypes, utilizing tools such as Figma, to bring concepts to life and facilitate user envisioning.\nWork collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including engineers and product managers, ensuring designs are both technically feasible and aligned with business objectives.\nContinuously advocate for user-centric design approaches throughout the development process, ensuring the final product resonates with the target audience.\nDevelop and present product marketing materials that summarize insights from research activities, effectively communicating the value proposition to customers.\nUndertake regular customer interviews and time and motion studies with design partners to gather feedback, validate prototypes, and gain a thorough understanding of user behavior.\nSynthesize research findings into actionable insights, shaping the development of intuitive, user-centered designs.\nWhen needed, conduct comprehensive UX research to deeply understand the behaviors, preferences, concerns, and workflows of lawyers, utilizing methods like surveys, focus groups, field studies, usability tests, and 1:1 interviews.\nQualifications:\nAt least 5 years of experience in UX design, preferably within technology or legal technology sectors.\nDemonstrated ability to deliver high-quality products in ambiguous and deadline-driven environments.\nStrong portfolio showcasing expertise in user-centered design.\nExcellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.\nFamiliarity with design and prototyping tools (e.g., Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma).\nA passion for AI, legal technology, transformation, or disruptive service models.\nRelevant academic background in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, or similar fields.\nAbility and willingness to work on-site in our Palo Alto office five days per week.\nCompensation Range: $170K - $240K\nThe posted salary range is based on our research for companies of our stage and size while in compliance with California law.
