This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with financial data, building automated workflows, connecting software applications, and developing solutions that improve business processes.\nYou will work directly with our Controller and gain hands-on experience across accounting operations, financial reporting, data engineering, and automation.\nThis is not a traditional finance internship. We are looking for someone who can understand how financial transactions work and use technology to build scalable solutions around them.\nWhat You Will Do\nAccounting & Finance: Support AP/AR, reconciliations, transaction processing, and month-end close.\nAPIs & Integrations: Connect financial and operational systems using APIs, connectors, and integrations.\nData Pipelines: Build and maintain workflows to extract, transform, validate, and organize financial data.\nFinancial Analytics: Use Python, SQL, and Excel to analyze financial data, support reporting, and identify discrepancies.\nAutomation & Process Improvement: Develop automated solutions to streamline accounting, reporting, and finance operations.\nWhat We're Looking For\nWe are looking for candidates with a combination of accounting knowledge, technical capabilities, and analytical thinking.\nAccounting & Finance Knowledge\nUnderstanding of basic accounting principles, including debits and credits, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.\nCoursework, internship experience, or practical exposure to accounting, bookkeeping, or financial analysis.\nAbility to understand financial transactions and how they are recorded and reported.\nFamiliarity with QuickBooks Online, Xero, or other accounting systems is a plus.\nTechnical Skills - Core Requirement\nUnderstanding of APIs and how different software applications communicate.\nAbility to build, configure, or troubleshoot automated workflows and integrations.\nFamiliarity with data pipelines and processes involving data extraction, transformation, and validation.\nProficiency in at least one programming or data tool, such as Python, SQL, JavaScript, or similar.\nStrong proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.\nExposure to automation platforms, webhooks, connectors, or AI-powered tools is highly desirable.\nEducation\nWe welcome candidates from multiple academic backgrounds, including:\nAccounting and Finance\nComputer Science\nInformation Systems / Management Information Systems (MIS)\nData Analytics / Business Analytics\nEconomics or related quantitative fields.\nCandidates pursuing a technology-focused degree with accounting or finance coursework, or a finance/accounting degree with demonstrated programming and automation skills, are particularly encouraged to apply.\nGraduation:
