The Solutions Engineer leverages deep product knowledge, strong communication skills, and strategic thinking to help prospects define their needs and align them with Euna's capabilities across budgeting, grant management, and procurement workflows.\nWhat You’ll Do\nPre-Sales & Solution Design\nServe as a functional and technical subject-matter expert across Euna Budget, Euna Grants, and Euna Procurement solutions.\nConduct tailored in-person and virtual demonstrations with charisma, clarity, and customer relevance.\nRe-engineer demo processes and maintain demo environments, including custom datasets, integrations, and vertical-specific configurations.\nLead discovery sessions to identify client needs and map requirements to system capabilities.\nAssist in developing scopes of work, levels of effort, and solution designs during the pre-sales cycle.\nSupport RFP responses, security reviews, and contract clarification as needed.\nCustomer Engagement & Relationship Building\nBuild strong relationships with prospects, including executives, analysts, and technical stakeholders.\nParticipate in joint sales calls and collaborate with AEs to create a strategic demo approach.\nDeliver scheduled webinars and support marketing-led presentations.\nProvide consultative insights on industry best practices across budgeting, grants management, and procurement.\nCross-Functional Collaboration\nWork closely with Product Development and Project Management to ensure alignment between promised functionality and deliverable capabilities.\nSupport Customer Success and Implementation teams with post-sales handoff, solution clarity, and expansion opportunities.\nProvide customer feedback to product teams to support ongoing enhancements.\nCross-train and collaborate with other Euna product groups to ensure comprehensive solution coverage.\nTechnical Execution\nMaintain deep knowledge of product roadmaps, implementation processes, and data structures.\nPrepare, load, and maintain demo datasets ensuring stability and accuracy.\nAssist with data analysis, system configuration, integrations, and report design during solution scoping.\nEnsure periodic demo database updates and alignment with new releases.\nWhat You Bring\nExperience & Background\n1-2+ years as a Sales Engineer or Solutions Engineer, preferably in SaaS, government technology, or public sector consulting.\nExperience with budgeting, accounting, forecasting, grant management, or procurement processes.\nPrior experience working with state or local governments strongly preferred.\nFamiliarity with Euna Grants, Euna Budget, or Euna Procurement products is an asset.\nSkills & Competencies\nExceptional presentation skills, comfortable presenting to large audiences and executive leadership.\nAbility to translate complex concepts into clear, engaging explanations.\nStrong relationship-building, communication, and consultative skills.\nProven experience in requirements gathering, data analysis, system design, and business process mapping.\nAbility to work cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Professional Services.\nAble to travel 15-30% across North America.\nTechnical Skills\nUnderstanding of SaaS architecture, integrations, data migration, and reporting.\nExperience preparing and maintaining demonstration databases.\nAbility to support interface discussions, data conversion, and solution configuration.\nWorking Conditions & Culture\nFlex-work options and remote collaboration with periodic travel.\nSome irregular hours may occur when preparing demos, responding to RFPs, or supporting customer needs.\nCompetitive compensation, comprehensive benefits package, and a collaborative, high-energy work environment.\nSummary\nThis unified Solutions Engineer role brings together the core responsibilities and skill sets needed to support Euna’s Budget, Grants, and Procurement solutions.
