for large-scale, distributed database systems.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign and implement scalable, highly available, and secure Couchbase database architectures for enterprise applications.\nDefine database architecture strategies, data modeling standards, and best practices.\nLead Couchbase cluster design, deployment, configuration, replication, and capacity planning.\nOptimize SQL++ (N1QL) queries, indexing strategies, data access patterns, and overall database performance.\nArchitect disaster recovery, backup, restore, failover, and business continuity solutions.\nTroubleshoot complex database performance issues and conduct root-cause analysis.\nLead database migration, modernization, and integration initiatives.\nEstablish database security policies, access controls, encryption, and compliance standards.\nCollaborate with application architects, development teams, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to align database architecture with business requirements.\nEvaluate database technologies and recommend solutions based on scalability, performance, availability, and cost.\nProvide technical leadership, mentor database engineers, and conduct architecture and design reviews.\nDevelop database monitoring, alerting, automation, and operational excellence strategies.\nRequired Skills and Qualifications\n12+ years of experience in database architecture, database engineering, or database administration, with strong hands-on expertise in Couchbase.\nExtensive experience in Couchbase Server architecture, cluster management, replication, and distributed data systems.\nStrong expertise in SQL++/N1QL, indexing, query profiling, and performance tuning.\nIn-depth knowledge of NoSQL data modeling, document design, partitioning, and scalability principles.\nExperience designing high-availability, disaster recovery, backup, and recovery solutions.\nProven experience handling large-scale databases and mission-critical enterprise applications.\nStrong understanding of database security, access management, and performance monitoring.\nExperience with Linux, scripting, and database automation.\nExcellent troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.\nGood to Have\nExperience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.\nKnowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and containerized deployments.\nExperience with infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools.\nExposure to database migration, cloud-native architectures, and microservices.\nExperience defining
