The role requires technical ownership and equally carries the responsibility to driving enterprise-wide data maturity, alignment and adoption, embedding data into decision-making, processes and behaviors across the group.\nAs such, the CDO organization's mission aligns around following key angles:\nDriving data as an enabler of strategy, not as an end in itself - Translate the Group’s strategic priorities into a clear, business-driven data agenda, ensuring all data initiatives directly support Euroclear’s strategic objectives and evolving business needs.\nEnsuringbusiness ownership and adoption, not just governance - Create alignment and engagement across business and IT, positioning data as a common language and shared responsibility.\nDelivering measurable impact through disciplined execution - Delivering tangible and measurable value from data\nBuilding aconnected, data-driven organization - Drive the organization's data maturity journey, moving from fragmented practices towards a coherent, value-driven data ecosystem.\nRole purpose\nThe Data Processes, Metadata and Tooling Analyst supports the implementation and adoption of Euroclear’s Data Governance framework through the maintenance of governance processes, metadata assets and supporting tooling.\nWorking with Business, Data Owners, Data Stewards, Technology teams and the Data Office, the role helps ensure that governance requirements are translated into practical processes, accurate metadata, traceable governance artefacts and effective tool usage across the organization.\nThe role contributes to improving data maturity, consistency and operational efficiency by supporting metadata management, Collibra adoption, governance-process execution and continuous improvement activities. Metadata, governance processes and workflows are recognized components of Euroclear’s Data Governance and Data Operating Model capabilities.\nKey Responsibilities\nGovernance Processes and Documentation\nSupport the maintenance and continuous improvement of governance procedures, workflows, standards and implementation guidance.\nMaintain governance artefacts, including ownership information, process documentation, approval records and decision records.\nAssist in documenting and operationalizing governance requirements, control activities and process changes.\nMetadata and Traceability\nMaintain metadata, glossary entries, ownership assignments, lineage information and related governance records in Collibra and connected solutions.\nSupport the documentation and maintenance of data assets, business terms, metadata relationships and governance artefacts.\nHelp improve traceability between Data Domains, Data Owners, data assets, controls, lineage and Data Products. Metadata Management is recognized as a dedicated enterprise capability supporting access to lineage, glossary and integrated metadata.\nTooling and Operational Support\nSupport the configuration, testing and adoption of governance tooling and workflows.\nAssist with user onboarding, issue triage, documentation and user support related to governance processes and tooling.\nContribute to the collection and analysis of requirements for governance-tool improvements and integrations.\nStakeholder Support and Continuous Improvement\nSupport Data Owners, Data Stewards, Custodians and Local Data Officers in applying governance processes and metadata standards.\nPrepare reporting, status updates and supporting materials for governance activities and forums.\nIdentify process inefficiencies, metadata gaps and tooling-improvement opportunities and contribute to remediation activities.\nRequired qualification\nExperience in Data Governance, metadata management, business analysis, process management, governance tooling or a related discipline.\nUnderstanding of metadata, business glossaries, lineage, ownership concepts and Data Governance practices.\nExperience working with data-governance or data-management platforms such as Collibra or similar tools.\nAbility to document processes, requirements, procedures and governance artefacts clearly and accurately.\nStrong analytical, communication and organizational skills.\nAbility to manage multiple activities while maintaining attention to detail and data quality.\nAbility to collaborate effectively with Business, Technology and governance stakeholders.\nExperience in a regulated environment.\nFamiliarity with Data Domains, Data Products, Data Quality, Data Stewardship and federated operating models.\nExposure to workflow-management platforms such as ServiceNow.\nFamiliarity with Purview, Unity Catalog or related metadata solutions.
