The Role:
As an IT Business Analyst, you will be part of the Euroclear GBS UK Team, whose mission is to provide IT solutions to support both the services of Euroclear UK & International and other Central Securities Depository (CSD's) within Euroclear Group.
The GBS Team is responsible for delivering valuable pieces of change in small, interactive cycles to maximise opportunities to gather feedback. This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate who has experience working within an agile environment as an IT Business Analyst to join a growing team tasked with delivering exciting new projects!
Responsibilities
- Working closely with the squad to deliver the IT implementation.
- Act as the key interface to drive the requirements elicitation and shape the business solution with the senior business partners.
- Communicate an understanding of the business drivers behind operational, functional changes and the value they will bring to the organisation.
- Understand and consult on the business problems / needs and propose options for viable business solutions that are acceptable.
- Facilitate the implementation and deployment of system changes for the business by providing them with support, advice and guidance throughout the change process.
- Champion in promoting standard methodology amongst the business analyst community across all IT and non-IT Divisions and across physical locations.
- Lead on validating the scenarios needed to test the system and update teams with the outcome of the results.
Skills
- Previous Financial Services sector - specifically within Securities or FMI is desirable but not essential.
- Experience in utilising and promoting business analysis methods such as: Modelling - Use Cases, Story Mapping, Process Modelling (BPMN, UML), Data Modelling (conceptual/logical)
- Experience of utilising industry standard methodologies such as Waterfall, V-Model, SCRUM and SAFE.
- Experienced team leading/mentoring.
- Previous experience of writing and implementing testing strategies on projects.
