There is an agreed split of responsibility between the regional and group team and dotted line management ensures full alignment.\n In a nutshell\nAs an IT Infrastructure & Application Platform Support Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability, deployment, support, performance, and continuous improvement of Eurofins' business-critical applications and their supporting infrastructure.\nYou will act as the primary technical liaison between Application Support, Release Management, Development, and Infrastructure teams, ensuring that application infrastructure requirements are delivered within agreed timelines and according to ITIL standards. The role combines infrastructure operations, application deployment, cloud administration, automation, and production support across on-premises and Azure-hosted environments.\nWhere will you be based and what business will you support?\nBased in Belo Horizonte, Brazil; you will join a globally distributed team and organization to support a technology stack including .NET applications, IIS, Windows and Linux servers, Azure services, SQL Server databases, containers, CI/CD platforms, and automation tools, while driving operational excellence and continuous service improvement.\nHow can you help us?\nyou will work on the following areas:\nApplication Deployment & Release Management, to:\nImplement and support application deployments using manual and automated deployment processes.\nEnsure all releases are delivered according to approved change management procedures.\nProvide technical support before, during, and after production deployments.\nCollaborate with Release Managers to ensure successful implementation of releases with minimal service disruption.\nMaintain deployment documentation, standards, and operational procedures.\nMeet approved deployment schedules while ensuring quality and reliability.\nInfrastructure & Platform Administration, to:\nAdminister and maintain IIS web servers supporting .NET-based applications.\nConfigure and manage websites, bindings, SSL certificates, authentication methods, application pools, virtual directories, and worker processes.\nManage Windows Server environments (2019, 2022 and 2025).\nSupport Linux-based systems and associated web platforms where required.\nWork with Azure cloud services, including infrastructure and application platform services.\nSupport containerized environments using Docker, Docker Compose, and Kubernetes.\nEnsure infrastructure requirements for applications are delivered within agreed SLAs.\nProduction Support & Incident Management, to:\nMonitor application and infrastructure health using enterprise monitoring platforms.\nProactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure and application-related issues.\nParticipate in major incident bridges and drive technical issue resolution to closure.\nCoordinate with infrastructure teams such as Network, Database Administration, Storage, Backup, Monitoring, Security, and Operations.\nProvide Level 2 technical support for production environments.\nConduct root cause analysis and contribute to problem management activities.\nDatabase & Application Support, to:\nSupport Microsoft SQL Server environments and coordinate with Database Administrators for performance optimization and issue resolution.\nAssist with SQL maintenance, troubleshooting, and basic development activities.\nTroubleshoot application performance issues involving IIS, ASP.NET, databases, cloud services, and integrations.\nSupport Azure-hosted application components including Azure Functions and related platform services.\nAutomation, DevOps & Continuous Improvement, to:\nAutomate operational activities using PowerShell, Python, Bash, or other scripting languages.\nDesign, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.\nWork with tools such as Azure DevOps, Octopus Deploy, Jenkins, and related DevOps platforms.\nContribute to Infrastructure-as-Code initiatives using Terraform.\nIdentify opportunities for process optimization, standardization, and infrastructure improvement.\nSupport transformation and infrastructure modernization initiatives.\nService Management & Collaboration, to:\nAct as the main point of contact for application teams regarding infrastructure requirements.\nWork closely with Business Analysts, Application Support teams, Release Managers, Developers, and Infrastructure teams.\nEnsure compliance with ITIL processes, including Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Request Management.\nParticipate in technical reviews, outage calls, project meetings, and operational governance activities.\nSupport infrastructure projects and organizational strategic programs as required.\n Are you our kind of extraordinary?\nYou have:\n\nMinimum 5 years of experience in Infrastructure Operations, Technical Support, Application Platform Support, or Production Support environments.\nExperience supporting enterprise Microsoft technologies and .NET-based applications.\nExperience working within ITIL-driven operational environments.\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline;
