The successful candidate will join the Automation and Robotics team, focusing on designing, prototyping, and implementing AI-driven solutions for pharmaceutical applications.\nThis role provides hands-on experience with machine learning (ML), large language models (LLMs), automation, and data engineering, contributing to next-generation digital tools that accelerate innovation in the pharmaceutical industry.\nResponsibilities\nDevelop and maintain knowledge graphs and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems for scientific data.\nDesign, prototype, and deploy AI-driven solutions for chemical process optimization.\nImplement AI/ML models for predictive analytics and decision support in chemical synthesis.\nBuild robotic control systems to orchestrate workflows using modular lab equipment.\nCreate new applications leveraging the Jupyter framework for web-based tools.\nIntegrate and visualize experimental data within applications where applicable.\nDevelop and maintain Python-based pipelines for data acquisition and workflow automation.\nCollaborate with scientific stakeholders to refine requirements and iterate on prototypes.\nWork with APIs, databases, and internal data pipelines for seamless integration.\nDocument code and workflows in compliance with internal best practices and quality standards.\n Education: BS with 5+ years of experience OR MS in Computer Science or related field (or expected graduation before start date).\nProficiency in Python, Jupyter Notebook, Dataiku DSS, and REST APIs.\nExperience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).\nFamiliarity with RDKit for cheminformatics applications is preferred.\n Position is Monday-Friday, 8-5.
